Resort e Spa San Crispino in Assisi

Abandoned place, terrible welcome, room dirty with insects, cockroaches in the bed, jacuzzi with floating animals, bathroom door as soon as opened the jambs fall, ran away as fast as they could, I really hope for a refund of the money...

The booked family suite room had a camp bed for my daughter to sleep in for 3 days (just kidding) room replaced with a double room transformed into a triple room with a cot, but with air conditioning that dripped onto a canister, forced to turn it off at night, broken shower tray etc.. in the end difference already paid for rooms around 150.00 euros not refunded and not even mentioned. Non-existent WiFi, even if mentioned on booking. Assisi beautiful but never again in this Resort.

Let's start with the welcome. Booking for 3 families 10 people 3 rooms (1 double 2 quadruple). We arrive and find a double 1 triple and 1 quintuple. The total will also be the same but since there are 3 families it is not exactly the same thing. Only after insistence do we get an additional double room and choose to divide the adults in the doubles and the children all together in the largest room. Obviously with the inconvenience of dividing the luggage since the rooms are all far from each other. Let's then move on to the rooms. One thing is the period furniture, another is the old furniture. Here everything is old with a sense of accumulation of dust. The breakfast is poor and could be improved. If you arrive after 9:30 you risk not finding anything. The Spa if no one was there indicated it. The swimming pool is also open to outsiders. And then the final icing on the cake. The structure hosts private parties with music until late at night. Interrupted only after a phone call at 1:30!!! In short, avoid!!

We were guests of this structure that from the outside is very beautiful and well-kept but the interior furnishings of the various rooms and the hall, beyond the personal taste of the owner, are not suitable for maintaining adequate cleanliness, curtains, valances and canopies on the beds do not help in this. But beyond this, the welcome was not what we had hoped for, despite an express request that had obviously been confirmed by the structure, of a certain distribution of the rooms, which upon our arrival, had not happened and they tried until the last to make us accept their distribution until they found another double room (which they insisted on telling us was free of charge for us ... and we even missed it) which however caused an inconvenience as the rooms were far away and the suitcases were shared. The breakfast, if we want to call it that, was decent the first morning, the second and last morning in practice there was nothing in the fridge or on the table. When we asked, we were told that obviously they couldn't stop other guests from eating and that if it wasn't enough for us (there were wrapped biscuits and 4 plastic croissants... and that's it), we could ask and they would go to the pastry shop to buy something! An answer that left us stunned. We then understood that other guests had made the same complaints. Obviously we had gone down about 1 hour before the space closed to have breakfast so in time. The swimming pool is very beautiful surrounded by greenery, it's a shame that it is open to the public and that the sunbeds (the ones that can be used because they are not dirty) were not enough for everyone and so some of us perched on plastic chairs. The photos on Booking show gourmet dishes and the presence of a restaurant that, given the not exactly close to the first town, would have been useful, instead it has been closed for two years... BUT Then change the wording on Booking and don't give rise to misunderstandings and false indications to make you choose. When I asked if there was a SPA, I was told yes, but the weekend was over, but there are no signs indicating its presence nor do they present it to you at the reception. The park/lawn around the structure is very beautiful and well-kept enough to host private events... everything would be great if the customer of the structure could find out beforehand to be able to decide whether or not to stay in these cases... only after a phone call at 1:30 in the morning was the volume of the music lowered. In short, the structure is potentially excellent but the management should really ask themselves a lot of questions! Too bad

Farmhouse surrounded by greenery but not cared for. After 8pm the reception closes and the customers are abandoned to themselves. An experience to forget, I worked as a night guard for fear of some unintended evil also because I was the only customer, I ask for explanations but they answer "nothing has ever happened"

Lovely place in the middle of nature, too bad it is not cared for at all. Windows with broken mosquito nets not to mention the poor or absent cleaning. Breakfast was completely rejected, in fact after the first morning even though we had it included in the price we always went out to have it. The pool area is beautiful, but the deckchairs? Do we want to change the ones with holes? A positive note to the reception guy, friendly and helpful unlike his colleague. No quality-price ratio, in the sense that the quality is not there but the price is high. Too bad!
