Reviews
This was my second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, a lot has changed since my previous visit.
Pros:
• Beautiful sea view
• Very tasty food
• Extremely polite and friendly waiters
Cons:
• Only water is included with meals. Outside of mealtimes, even water must be purchased, along with all other drinks. Be sure to double-check during booking if drinks are truly included.
• The pool bar is also not included in the price — everything there is charged additionally.
• If you’re looking for entertainment, you might want to consider a different hotel. There are no events, shows, or animations during the day or evening.
• The buffet has a very limited selection for children. On the rare occasion when chicken nuggets were available, they ran out quickly and were not restocked.
• We didn’t receive the room we originally booked and paid extra for. Only after filing a complaint with the travel agency did we finally get the correct room.
Overall, while the hotel still has some strong points, especially the view and the service staff, many aspects have declined compared to our first stay. I would recommend doing detailed research before booking.
We had a Comfort Room, which was very comfortable, spacious and had perfect view from the 6th floor over the beach. Highly recommendable.
Very extensive breakfast buffet.
On the negative side, check-in was slow with no additional information, like where breakfast would be, or discounted pricing for the beaches, or information about the facilities (we realized only after a few days that the hotel has a big swimming pool area at the back). Breakfast was trying at times - coffee machines placed so that people getting coffee blocked getting to the buffet, often no cups, staff didn't notice the machines needed refilling. Check-in and breakfast were both not the sort of service one would expect in a 4-star hotel. We were completely ignored on our 2nd day at lunch at one of the hotel's beach restaurants, eventually we simply left and lunched for the rest of our stay at another restaurant.
The rooms were basic and clean. However the renovations that were done could have been done better. Panels are attached to the walls to cover up something. There are also some cracks and tears in the walls and the shower door was not attached well. With kids I could see a lot go wrong in a room like this. The details were just off.
Breakfast was basic but there was enough choice. I think it's a bit weird to drink out of a plastic cup as an adult, but there were no glasses available in the morning. Dinner was served to the table by a staff member assigned to your table. There is a color system, but we only figured it out on our last evening. Gaia and Yassin did their very best to serve us and we are very grateful for their friendly service. Water and wine are free at dinner. It's a pity that most appetizers are already cold when they are served just like the main plates at dinner. Through the entire week we did not get warm food once.
We could use the beach for free, but I don't know if this applies for the entire season. We went the last week of September. We also got 2 free welcome drinks at the start of our stay. We never used them and left them in the nighstands for the next visitors.
Attention - They even are closed and take your money - ATTENZION
The only setback was bad wifi signal in our room.
