Hotel Doge in Milano Marittima

My family and I have been coming to this hotel over 10 years and the standard has always been the same. The hotel is very clean, great food, great service and the facilities and location is fantastic! The atmosphere is very friendly and the value for money is very good.

For a few days, however, we appreciated the room, which was quiet thanks in part to the internal doors between the bedroom and bathroom, and adjustable air conditioning.
Breakfast was plentiful, though not particularly suitable for vegans for a 4-star hotel (various plant-based milks, only one type of croissant, fruit, cereal, and bread; in short, it could be better).
A few unexpected issues with the hotel were resolved fairly quickly, and the staff was very helpful.

The Hotel Doge represents the quintessential ‘Romagnola experience’. Here you will find the attentive and very friendly service that is a gift of the hôtellerie tradition of this land. The personnel is all well prepared, with exquisite manners, and always happy to provide suggestions and go out of their ways to make you happy. The bedroom are comfortable and clean, the restaurant and bar are top notch with a buffet breakfast that can cater for all tastes, including that of international guests. The wine list is extremely well curated and features many local IGTS and DOCGS. The seaside service was excellent too! In conclusion, a beautiful experience in the fabulous Emilia Romagna Adriatic Sea! Well done Hotel Doge!

The hotel was great; they even had the heating on in April, which was very comfortable and warm. The staff were very welcoming and even helped us plan our trip to the kite festival. The rooms were also very clean, and the breakfast was good.

Such a fantastic hotel: the staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to go the extra mile to make the guests feel comfortable and special. We went with our 1-year old daughter and the room, food and overall experience was absolutely amazing! The rooms are very clean and the large swimming pool is a gem. Special mention to the chef and the maitre d’ for the outstanding cuisine and service.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The hotel is excellent, the food and service is exceptional! It also has a great swimming pool and is literally a 5 min walk to the beach.

Excellent staff!!! Located near centre of the city. Clean rooms (even under the beds) and pool. I understand how is difficult to clean the pool when around grow so many pines, but they do this job perfect.

Rooms have balconies with one or two chairs and table. Big mirrors in the room and bathroom.

Now about food. Breakfast was delicious. Possible to to taste many kinds of cakes. I didn't have a possibility to taste the dinner, but I believe that it is good as breakfast.

I don't know if it just seemed to me or it really is but they use different types of coffee beans in the morning and evening. In the morning coffee was more stimulating and in the evening was more concentrated to aroma.

It is almost impossible that everything would be perfect. There are small few things that need to fix. It would be good not to wait the light will turns on in the bathroom. Also handle of the sliding door to the balcony is laming. Small dark curtain, not enough privacy in the room in the evenings when light is on (only in rooms with view to pool).

We had a great time at Hotel Doge, it's a quiet, cozy and relatively small hotel. Rooms with balcony and individual A/C. The staff is very helpful and is doing their best to make you happy. Very nice surroundings, a lot of shadow, plants, trees. Continental breakfasts, and lunches/dinners as from 5-star restaurant, the food was just PERFECT.

A beautiful property and very near to the beach. Rooms are great with a very helpful staff.
