There is no denying this hotel is a bit “vintage” but it is clean and comfortable and smack in the center of town in a great location. However, it’s really the lovely staff and owner family that make it a great place to stay. They made a wonderful welcome and helped us with a number of small things. 5* Hospitality. Thank you

Excellent value, charming staff, mother daughter owners will go to all means to help you ! Other reviews saying thé spaces and rooms are dated… rubbish!! This is what European hotels of quality authentically look like! Everything is built to last! NO problems with noise or cleanliness, housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and coffee is served to you personally in the lovely dining room. Be nice be civilized and you receive politeness and civility in return!

Recent weekend skiing trip with friends and family. Hotel is as the name suggest very central to resort centre and only 10 minutes walk from main gondola, 5 mins to bus station. Ok as budget option for a few days away, if you just want somewhere for b&b Pros Cheap hotel clean, rooms cleaned every day Breakfast continental- was ok Cons Very dated, old fashioned, amenities basic Sauna is extra €30 euros to use Any hot breakfast options extra €10 euros Bar / lounge area very tired…we didn’t stay once for a drink or any food so can’t comment Staff in the day are very friendly, the lady who manages hotel very friendly Courmayeur nice resort, good skiing, not as many bars as we expected, lots of nice restaurants.

Excellent central location. Very nice staff. However this hotel is more basic than I could have even imagined. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything. So constantly woken in the night with doors slamming and guests talking. Woken from unbearably uncomfortable beds with pillows which are probably less comfortable than my hard suitcase. The room was missing some v simple basics like small bottle of water each day. No hairdryer. Any type of robe to get out of the shower would have been great. Breakfast was basic. All buffet, no porridge, or fresh eggs. I have see reviews saying this hotel needs a glow up. I think they should lean into their antiquity and go full Wed Andersen. With new beds and pillows. And a revamp of the breakfast offering.

The Hotel Centrale is located exactly as it is named. It is in the very center of Courmayeur, close to the major bus stop, restaurants, the main shopping street, and - it was important to us - to the Tour du Mont Blanc trail. It is old-fashioned (we like it a lot), well-organized, clean, convenient. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast are great. Just do not ask for Americano, stick to espresso instead, you are in Italy. :)

A three-star hotel that needs to be completely revised.... Let's start with the only positive aspect: it is in a truly central location! For the rest, we suggest a complete restyling! The rooms need to be "rejuvenated" and looked after. Breakfast definitely needs to be improved! In 2024, you cannot pay 9 euros for a plate of cooked eggs! Just as you cannot neglect celiac people by not providing them with dedicated desserts. The common areas are enormous but..... from the times of the Punic Wars. You have a heritage: make the most of it and you will see that your overall rating will also benefit.

I agree with the comments about the neglected cleaning found in the room, an aspect that can already discourage booking. No words & no comment. Of course in the center area it is a great convenience, but there is not only the location to consider ...

Not sure why this place only has 3.7 stars. Our stay was absolutely lovely here. Room had two balconies with great views. This place has a great antique and comfy vibe to it.
The owner and her mother were super nice people and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.
