Where to stay with kids in Aosta Valley

The rooms could use some renovation, but they were clean and tidy. It was quite warm in the room and the air felt rather dry, though keeping the window open helped a lot

Even though the hotel might need some renovation in the common area, they all made us feel very welcome and did a great job with the kids, the karaoke entertainment, and the theatre shows

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — it is a true ski-in/ski-out hotel right on the slope, which makes everything extremely convenient

The food is buffet style and is never hot, always luke warm or cold! There is a massive range of food and to be fair some of it is very nice! Just not hot enough. The tea urn is never hot so you get tepid tea all week

The pool is very small and filled with kids and you have to pay for towels if you don’t bring one with you! The gym area is an afterthought as it is behind the chairs in the swimming pool area

The heated ski room was a great bonus, and having ski equipment rental available directly at the hotel was very practical. The service was very good, and the food was delicious

They clearly don't want us apartment peasants using the leisure centre! That said, I will probably book the apartments again for next year as it was very easy to self cater, it was great having the apartment facilities & it still works out a LOT cheaper than the half board hotel package that includes free pool use even when factoring in food etc for the week

I was travelling solo with my 3 children age 6, 9 and 11 and found it very easy to get around and everything was close to hand such as shops, deli, restaurants, lifts, ski school

Also to mention the brilliant TH Land club which is essential for the single parent! I used it twice for my younger two in the afternoon. It cost €7 for each child from 2-5pm

€15 for me would have been grand as the kids would have been free, but then we were advised that for children under 12 the cost is now €9 each

So it cost us €41 to use the pool (we bought our own hats, towels and flip flops)

They watched a movie and had popcorn and hot chocolate and I got to ski a little more with my older son. The option was there for whole day care including ski school drop, pick up and lunch though if needed

We spent the night in at the bar as we snacked and enjoyed our cocktails in one of the most incredible hotel bars in the world. The indoor and outdoor pools as we as the spa are incredible as are the saunas and hammam

From the moment you step inside, the reception area is huge with spectacular mountain views. The room we were allotted was incredible and any window you loo out of, those spectacular mountains are always present

The breakfast service is really good and as for the dinner service I highly recommends to get a reservation as soon as you book your stay, it can get really busy

The Grand Hotel Billia perched high in the Italian Alps is one of the most incredible Belle Epoque grand hotels you could ever stay at

Showers/bathroom was nice and modern. Pool was a nice addition, you have to book no more than 24 hours in advance. Staff all super friendly which made the stay so pleasant

We had drinks in the bar one evening and it came with an assortment of snacks (if you’re hungry pre dinner!) Note that the hotel is not close to town, we had a car so could drive in but if being in town is important then this isn’t the hotel for you

The swimming pool and spa areas (with several steam rooms and a sauna) were both excellent and beautifully presented. The rooms were excellent with a large bathroom/shower area

We stayed for half term in the executive rooms on half board. The food was very good, some evenings better than others but the buffet starters were consistently excellent and a wide selection for everyone

We had the most wonderful time at TH Courmayeur, the hotel is beautiful, the SPA unique with its external warm pool looking to the Alps, rooms are comfortable, large and clean, the food was varied and delicious, the staff very attentive and always happy to assist

Two drawbacks : spa center and pool - this hotel requires definitely well organized this kind of activity and bigger pool - access by website is horrible

I really love this hotel. The room is very spacious, clean, and offers a view of Mont Blanc. The manager and receptionist, Fiorella Vismara, provided excellent service. I’m very impressed. The breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options and excellent quality. What really stood out was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay

The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service to the city center and nearby areas, which made getting around much easier. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again

The service was excellent from every member of staff, especially the waiting staff in the restaurant in the evening and at breakfast. One of the best hotels in Europe I would say!

We had room 204 which had an amazing balcony and view of Mont Blanc. The room was impeccably clean and cozy. I think it is the most "at home" I have ever felt at a hotel. The attention to detail was second to none

We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant it was delicious. We went back for the breakfast buffet in the morning and there was an incredible collection of local foods, which were also all very delicious

Excellent location right by apres ski. Shuttle takes you to Pant Maison. Warm and friendly atmosphere and smells beautiful. The rooms were warm and cosy with everything you need

The pool is really a hot tub - wonderful. The hotel location is very good, in the town centre, close to the lifts. The only downside is the Cervinia infrastructure

We had a fantastic week in this gorgeous hotel. I couldn’t fault it. The staff were fantastic, the facilities incredible & the most wonderful breakfast. Great being a 2 minute walk to the slopes too.

It's well worth taking their half board dinners as they were delicious - Marco and Angelo who manage the restaurant are top notch too. The spa is great to relax after a day's skiing

On the way back one afternoon there were many people waiting for the last bus at 4. He took only 12 skiers and the rest had to find taxis. The town needs to up its game

You get a warmer welcome at many three-star hotels, where they offer you water, a snack, or something similar upon arrival. How can anyone think this is a policy that increases revenue? Just loses clients

Everyone I interacted with - the reception desk, the kitchen staff, the spa staff were welcoming and friendly. It was my first time in Courmayeur and I stayed solo in a deluxe room with gorgeous Mountain View’s

Overall, a sophisticated stay with accommodating staff. I looked forward to coming to my room every night. I can’t wait to come back and stay again next February for our next corporate ski trip!

Skiholiday 1week Family room was spacious, in two floors. Our room was at top floor, besine church bell. Bells didnt bother too much, they wake 730 and last call was at 22 Breakfast was okay, but no super

Solid room, okay gym, great staff. Never going to be a fan of ' place charging extra to use their facilities - the pool/sauna - and it is sad to have such good facilities barren as a result

The staff were incredibly patient, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the service was wonderful

You absolutely have to check out their restaurant — the food was excellent, cooked and present in perfection. The staff have great knowledge and were very helpful in recommending wine pairings

We tested bath/sauna area 2sauna wirh relaxin pool with water massage and gym with multidevices. Room was clean with dayly cleaning and staff were nice and helpfull

There are also several dining options nearby, and a landmark church can be viewed from the room balcony. A Carrefour supermarket is just a few steps away, which is very convenient

Recently renovated, the rooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet is varied and includes quality products. The staff is very pleasant and always attentive

The only thing we could improve is the chairs, both on the terrace and in the room, are very uncomfortable. At a vacation hotel, you go to be comfortable, not just sleep

Stunning scenery just steps from Sant Vincent. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I m book twin bed but hotel provide me one bed but the next hour hotel staff gave me one more room to solve this problem this is really good the baht tub zone for the hotel not ready to use because it full booking

This is our second time we have come to the hotel. The staff are super and the rooms are suited to skiers. Breakfast is fantastic and the hotel bus takes us to the ski lifts

Everything about the hotel was perfect really with a charming family feel. Impeccable service great food and particularly a fantastic breakfast. The shuttle to the lift was efficient and worked really well

The food was exceptional , a fantastic range of options of the highest quality for breakfast and evening meal. Bedrooms were very comfortable and warm. The hotel minibus shuttle to the chairlift was great each morning

Our 2nd visit to this charming family run hotel in Gressoney La Trinite for a ski holiday. As before, all the staff were helpful, polite and enhanced our stay with 1st class service

The wine list is extensive and they feature recommended wines to accompany each meal. Breakfast menu is comprehensive and basically, eat as much as you like. The staff were uniformly pleasant, professional, and friendly

The breakfasts and dinners were splendid with more than enough to eat. Rooms were clean , bright and spacious with gorgeous views. The ski in ski out was great for us but definitely not for beginners

The rooms are clean, warm and cozy, with most offering beautiful balcony views of the surrounding alpine scenery

The only downside is that access to the spa area is not included and comes at an extra cost, which is a bit disappointing for a ski hotel. That said, the rest of the experience more than made up for it

In addition to the usual delicious Italian fare, there was a fantastic variety of salads, meats, and rotating hot dishes. Every night offered something new, and the quality was consistently excellent

Didn’t use the spa but heard only good things about it. It’s ski in ski out, only slight downside to that is the run it’s on is a red, so you need to be confident enough to handle that

You’ll find here comfortable beds, tasty breakfast, fantastic coffee and drinks, swimming pool and sauna. It is very close to shops and restaurants, which even I could reach with sprained knee 😉

Very nice hotel, great decoration, very nice rooms. Everything is very clean. The stuff is very helpful and willing to share advices about the area. The view from the room is fantastic.

Thankfully the staff of Paradise Hotel made this time easier to deal with, helping in every way possible. This is the place where you feel important and your needs are fulfilled

I booked Au Coeur des Neiges at the very last minute after finding myself in Courmayeur with one night left before heading home, and what an incredible find it was. From the moment I arrived, everything felt special

Pros: a very cozy hotel -you truly feel like you’re in a fairy tale. The pool has a beautiful view, and the water in the pool is warm, just like the temperature in the spa area

The service is absolutely exceptional!! Their attention to detail and making you feel like you’re part of the family is a virtue that not many resorts can offer

They helped with travel transfers, lunch and dinner reservations and even helped us with a doctor and pharmacy. They have a ready and waiting van service which takes you wherever you need to go in town

Super place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern accommodation. Excellent food. Very convenient transfer service to the ski lifts. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

The BEST hotel in Cervinia!!! Book early because it’s always sold out. This hotel is our most favorite hotel from anywhere in the world. It’s truly beautiful, architecturally

Spa is super with pool, hot tubs, sauna and room to spread out. They also have a fully kitted out gym with weights and cardio. Can't wait to make a return trip

Paradise in the Italian Alps! My husband and I traveled to the Valle d’Aosta with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. The Bellevue was the most idyllic place and a very charming historic hotel

As a traditional family hotel, it may not align with the expectations of modern travellers who require dietary flexibility

She was so kind and generous to us, returning the next night to gift us some books on the hotel and region. She went out of her way to ensure we had a pleasant stay

BREAKFAST: The best part! One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Quality over quantity! Also the waiters Massimiliano and Filippo were very nice! SPA: We have been to many Spas

That said, it is not well suited to vegans or guests with food intolerances. Butter and milk feature heavily in the cooking, and there appears to be little scope to adapt recipes or preparation methods

Other members of my group greatly enjoyed their meals, and this review is not a criticism of the food quality, but rather an informative note for those with specific dietary needs

Guests on prepaid half-board packages should be aware that assurances from travel agents about dietary accommodation may not reflect the reality on site

Firstly the hotel was super clean and all the rooms were comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, this included the receptionists and breakfast staff

Lastly, the location is very good, pleasant and quiet. One can get to Aosta and the Pila ski lifts in 5 mins either by car or via a bus. The bus stop is across the road

The breakfast was superb and had plenty of choice. The hotel had a free carpark adjacent to the hotel and across the road

The location is very good, 10 minutes ride from the center of the city of Aosta, parking zones and large supermarkets. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, and the views from the hotel are wonderful

Probably the standouts (and there are many) are the incredible staff who make the experience of staying a delight and the beautiful food at Summit

We’ve had a wonderful 4 days here, and experienced everything they have to offer. The climbing wall is a first for me, and was great fun with the instructor Tomas making me feel safe and confident

The e-bikes are great, we cycled 22kms up the mountain and back, the walk to the Blue Lake is spectacular. We also enjoyed yoga and massages. The food is healthy, plentiful and delicious

The staff have all been wonderful, a special mention to the 2 ladies at breakfast and to Alice who has looked after our every request and helped make our stay so special
