The property is both a hotel and a residence. While it’s a bit outdated, the rooms are clean and quite nice. The only downside was that the mattress wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, it was still a good stay.

We stayed one night here on the way to France. We had a family room that came with a kitchen and a separate bedroom. It was our first time in Courmayeur, in December/ January 2026. Hotel Berthod is centrally located and service is top class. Hosts are very courteous and breakfast is very good offering many options. Hotel Berthod is in the perfect location, has spacious and beautiful rooms and food that is terrific. The very friendly staff went above the call of duty for us. We asked for a lunch to go with giving them very little notice (way past the requested time). And they cheerfully gave us an amazing meal!

Already second time in 2 years! Best place to stay in Pila for ski and for kids. You reach the slopes directly from the back door of the hotel. Good food and the baby club makes your holiday perfect!

The main attraction is the location, right on the slopes. There’s ski hire and lockers at the hotel and you can ski from and too the hotel. It’s a very busy hotel, very popular with families because of its well priced ski package for children. Meal times May seem chaotic till you get used to it but there’s a very good selection of food.

Honeymoon paradise We were honeymooning for 5 days and we had the most incredible experience. This is a great getaway spot. Super romantic, the views are AMAZING, and the spa is super enjoyable. The breakfast service is really good and as for the dinner service I highly recommends to get a reservation as soon as you book your stay, it can get really busy. I cannot wait to go again.

Buget and clean rooms, silent location with green surroundings, not far

We stay here regularly on our travels. It’s convenient for the Autostrade, dog-friendly and has a nice garden. The restaurant is not usually open for guests. Clean with friendly staff. Parking is available and it has views of the Alps.

We had a great stop over here and the concierge was super helpful. We were pretty frazzled at the end of a long drive from UK towing our bike and this was just what we needed. The staff here were excellent, helpful and friendly with great communication skills. The cocktails were skilfully served and the spa manager was exceptionally helpful. We had a great room with a view of the town and mountains and ski area. The staff were all exceptionally available, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. They were the very best, and caring staff I have ever encountered.

We stayed here with in a large group of friends, rent thing eight rooms. The location in perfect, the staff is accommodating and very helpful, and the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The only thing, if I have to find one, the rooms are a bit small. But for the price, I def cannot complain! ;)

The hotel is on a very noisy road. Rooms have no AC (expected) and no ventilation, which means you have to open your windows to get any oxygen into the room. But when you open the window, you hear all traffic from the busy street.

The Hotel Cresta et Duc was well placed within 100 meters of the pedestrian shopping and dining in the center of town. The hotel has a garage, which makes parking in crowded Courmayeur very convenient. Excellent breakfast and a superb staff -- very accommodating.

More like a 3 star hotel. Carefull, gym and outdoor pool closed in September 24. Hot tub and finish sauna do not work. The indoor swimming pool and staff are nice. Would be worth approximately 75e/night in my opinion.

Good hotel, worthy of 3 stars, wifi doesn't work in some areas, as it is a large building full of walls, the TV doesn't work on the channels, the outdoor pool area is very good, good breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel on our arranged holiday with interski. The friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us and our children from the minute we arrived. Great food with a varied selection for breakfast enjoyed by all and and a wonderful choice of menus for the evening meal with an authentic Italian choice too. The rooms were fantastic and very clean with daily maid service from the friendly team....

Hotel is tastefully decorated and well maintained. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. The food is exceptionally good. If booking via Crystal I would wait for a late deal as I was lucky to get a very good discount.

This is our second time we have come to the hotel. The staff are super and the rooms are suited to skiers. Breakfast is fantastic and the hotel bus takes us to the ski lifts. After a good ski we relax in the spa followed by dinner. An absolute undiscovered gem!!!

The hotel bus to the chair lift is great and runs frequently. Alternatively, it is very close to the bus stop for the Navette up to Staffel at the top of the valley - and bigger lifts

Can’t fault the hotel .. it’s exactly what you’d expect from an Italian 4 star family owned hotel .. friendly staff , great food , and good value ..
