Hotel Aigle in Courmayeur

A lovely, family-run hotel in Entrève, approx 3km from the centre of Courmayeur. Stayed for a weeks snowboarding / skiing and had a relaxing stay. Warm welcome & friendly / helpful, multilingual staff. Limited, but delicious breakfast (as based around the traditional Italian coffee & pastry start to the day). Personally not keen on not being allowed to serve myself. However, the freshly-squeezed OJ was amazing!!! The daily 4 course dinner was tasty & filling, with the home-made tiramisu getting a special mention, but I found the 8pm start a little late. It is a bit of a pain having to get the (free) shuttle or bus to/from the cable cars, but as long as you time it ok, not so bad. Unlike other ski hotels I’ve stayed in, it was nice that the room wasn’t too hot, but just a comfortable temperature. There was plenty of (drying) space / hangers for wet kit & the housekeeping team were exceptional, making my room immaculate & a pleasure to come back to. Would definitely come again.

I recently stayed in Hotel Aigle for three days and two nights. This is a wonderful new hotel perfectly located within 8 min walk from the Monte Bianca SkyWay. My room was very large with fabulous bathroom and a balcony with view to Mon Blanc. The hotel has its own parking which is a rare opportunity in small towns in Italy. The breakfast/colezzione was great. Take advantage of the dinners which offer excellent Italian three course menus with several options. I was welcomed by the owner who received me with a free Expresso and who provided excellent recommendations for hikes and tips and allow me to buy the SkyWay ticket with a discount. I strongly recommend it!

Very attentive and pleasent hotel personal giving us the best of service.

We started our TMB trail at this point and spent a few nights at the hotel. The view of Mont Blanc from the hotel is stunning. The hotel offered excellent atmosphere and is situated in a great location for TMB trail and many other daily trails. It is a few minutes distant from Courmayeur’s center and a few minutes walk to the “Skyway” cable car. The team at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, every question or need we had got their full attention.

The hotel is just great: everything is at it's place with full attention to the details. Alessandro and the whole team have demonstrated exceptional hospitality and service level from the moment we've booked the stay until we've left (and even beyond, as we've managed to forget a phone in the room).
Something to consider: Courmayeur with it's cozy downtown isn't very close, and parking there is relatively burdensome. Entrèves itself is a nice village, but there is not much to do in the evening apart from eating.
And a comment about the dinner - good restaurants are not abundant in the walking distance, we've tried several and... we'd better have dined in the hotel, price/quality ratio was incomparable.

Lovely hotel. Modern building and lovely staff. 10 mins walk to the lift, or if you have a car you can get to a number of different resorts in 20 mins.

Very nice structure just renovated wonderful staff very friendly excellent cuisine with homemade preparation hotel convenient to the facilities for the mont blanc in short, all very nice and highly recommended !! Thank you!! We really enjoyed it !! The Bolognese

Positioned under the eighth wonder of the world, this structure is also fantastic for the hospitality and attention paid to guests. The consultant Carlo is exceptional, but Alessandro and his daughter are no less. Excellent catering and cleaning. Super super recommended.

This little gem Hotel is situated just between Courmayeur and Val Ferret with fantastic view on Mont Blanc. Very friendly staff, excellent local food and comfortable rooms.
