The host went out of her way to create a terrible countryside experience. never greeted us when we arrived so first impression was her barging into our room after 9;30am which is after quite hours. (and before hand the other people staying had already checked out.) She basically invaded our privacy barged into our room due to noise when she could of just gave a warning and we would of stopped. She lied and said we caused humidity in the room with the air conditioner but air conditioners take away humidity, accused us of breaking things from putting ice in our own personal water bottle. I even went out of my way to get her wine and a personal note to "make up for our awful exaggerated mistake which was just making a tin y bit of noiser" she called us not normal. The only normal perception i have is she does not like Americans which is fine, i should of did more research of the area before hand this is my fault. After being yelled at and having my vacation Ive spent years saving for, ruined from being scolded like a child. her au pair made eye contact with me and choose to ignore us from our time there, hilarious. You can live in the most beautiful country and still be bitter, rude, un-hospital and ignorant. id be on your best behavior staying her, make little noise maybe even pretend you don't exist. That is not a way to spend your free time.

A true gem! This little hotel managed by Giorgia was absolutely wonderful. It is quiet and quaint, beautifully decorated, and our room (the Yellow Room) was very spacious. We had an upper level with a big bathroom, nice shower, and kitchenette. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was clean and the garden outside was so lovely! A locked car park with shaded parking spots is available for 10€ a day if you are arriving by car. Meta is a beautiful little spot a short way away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Campania! Giorgia alone is worth the visit! She will make you feel so comfortable and welcome!

We stayed here in mid May 2018, and had a lovely time. We were a group of 6 adults, one 5 y/o kid and a baby, and took 3 rooms. This is a welcoming country style B&B, nicely designed up to smallest decor details, each room has it's own charm. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the patio area is drowning in greenery and has an inviting atmosphere. There is a small kitchen where the owner himself, Tony, cooks nice and tasty breakfast. The B&B is very kid friendly! There are some toys for the use of the little ones, and the crib in our room had lovely linens and a soft blanket. Tony and Georgia are great hosts, that helped us a lot recommending where to eat best pizza, how to plan our trip and such...Try the Tico Tico pizza - it's to die for!!! We have enjoyed our stay very much!

We stayed at Orchid Corner in 2007 & 2008 and found it to be an incredible experience. We were concerned that the low rates would represent a less enjoyable experience but everything was extremely clean and exceeded the experience at highly rated commercial hotels on our trip. My wife and I plan on making Orchid Corner the center of our next European vacation.

Beautiful rooms and garden. Relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Very close to the sea and to some good restaurants. The owner is very nice and helpful. Antonini makes simple but super tasty breakfasts.
If you comes to Meta by car you should know that the streets are very narrow and can be, at the beginning at least, scary to drive throght, but the locals are very patient with drivers unexpirienced with that kind stuff. Anyway come with the smallest car you can.

I really liked that place - It has it's own atmosphere. It's old, beutiful house, very well located. The room was huge with amazing decorations. I loved the owner - Georgia, who is extremely helpful and doing everything to make the stay perfect. The only problem was that our window was heading streat so we had a noisy people on scuters waking us up at night sometimes. But this is Italy!

We had a great time at orchid Corner. A friendly and family owned b&b with great breakfast. We loved every minute here! Short walk to the beach and many great restaurants.
