We paid handsomely for a sea view and got it. The view was magnificent the room was kept clean, although room amenities like soap and bottled water were sparingly dispensed. Although some of the hotel staff were attentive and friendly, many were not. However, one employee, Mauro, was particularly helpful all throughout our 7 night stay.

Hotel Grand de la Ville is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located. The staff are warm and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooftop pool offers stunning views. A wonderful place to stay in Sorrento.

The photos were pretty, but when I actually went there, it was just like a motel. The location was remote and humid, so I barely managed to stay one night and leave.

The hotel is quite good. Since we chartered a car for the trip, the hotel was easy to find and was very close to the beach, about a 20-minute walk. The room was just okay, with no view of the sea. The breakfast was great with lots of fruits.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days on our honey and we would definitely recommend. The room and pool views are spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt accommodated. The location is very pretty high up but you need to take a shuttle which runs every hour and 15 minutes so not very easy. This is a great hotel with a beautiful view over the bay of Naples, an excellent restaurant and wonderful staff. However, it is spoiled by an apparent reliance on American tour groups which arrive in hordes, act as if they own the place and are generally rude, loud and arrogant.

The staff from check in to check out was friendly helpful and on top of all of your needs. They provide a complimentary shuttle to the main area where you can find shops and restaurants. We were disappointed. Bath had one light which dimly lit. What 4 star location has plastic glasses in the bathroom. Extra charges for clean pool towels seemed excessive. Staff was friendly. The hotel was very nice, but there were some issues. There was some exceptional staff members that went above and beyond; Angelo in the dining room and Carmen and Joseph at reception. This hotel has been amazing!! could not recommend enough! the rooms are nice with a gorgeous balcony view, the rooftop is insanely gorgeous, the breakfast has so many options from delicious desserts to eggs and homemade bread, and the staff has been nothing but helpful!! is a bit of a walk from downtown sorrento, about 15/20 mins, but we preferred being a little bit further as it’s less crowded!

The hotel overall is very clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. We stayed at three hotels over the course of our Italy trip and this was our favorite one! It it was close to the center (about a 10 minute walk) without feeling like you’re in too crowded of an area. Bonus points for the pool and the excellent morning breakfast!

Really lovely place to stay. Fairly central, (which means that it's on a busy road, but double glazing and AC sorts that). The hotel is quite old, the rooms are very small, barely large enough for two people to squeeze in and out at the same time, the facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is poor, which is very unsatisfactory. If you are coming here for the Jacuzzi don't bother. They dont heat it, and will gaslight you to think that a jacuzzi is supposed to be cold. The breakfast was amazing, unfortunately, the rooms are small but very clean. Overall great stay. It’s very close to the train station, which makes it a perfect location. But at the same time, because of the location it doesn’t have great views. It has 2 pools, they close at around 6 pm, which is early. And both of them are small.

The views from the hotel are beautiful! It offers an excellent buffet breakfast and a very attentive staff. We rented a Vespa and getting around was super easy ; we could reach the center of Sorrento in just 5 minutes! They also provide a shuttle service, which made it very convenient to get to Sorrento on our first night, both going and coming back.

We stayed at Hotel Club Sorrento for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Had a fabulous 10 nights in this hotel. Spotless clean, room and bathroom were lovely and spacious. Roof terrace great for a drink and all staff were very pleasant and helpful. Central location but not noisy and very near some great wee restaurants. Highly recommended just loved it all.

Lovely hotel Lovely location, near some great restaurants particularly Cucina and La Locanda. Easily walking distance to Sorrento main square and the station. Very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid extra for a view and it did not disappoint.
