Hotel Alle Alpi in Moena

We decided to spend the ski week again in Val di Fassa, but unfortunately we chose this structure. The previous year we stayed at the Olympic Spa Hotel in Vigo. Two facilities, both with spas and both recognized as a 4 star, Olympic a 4 star plus and that plus really makes the difference. The room assigned to us was rather small in space but adequate, but it was a shame that it was on the first floor above the bar. Of course you only find out when you're there. Sleep disturbed by evening village-style entertainment activities (karaoke, "cabaret" skits, quizzes, etc.), either you are a heavy sleeper or you bring earplugs otherwise you could participate directly from your room. I work all year round, I should be able to decide whether to participate in these activities or whether I prefer to rest. Double bed, not a double bed, two paired mattresses, hard other than toppers, a better quality mattress would be enough. Spa service: limited by timetables, from 2.30pm and by reservation, swimming pool accessible in the morning only by reservation, cold water for which you can't. The hydromassage is in one part of the pool, if you are claustrophobic don't go there because you are under the platform that holds a platform, see photo. Massage service, I asked for the types but essentially there is no price list, two massages done, the operator did her best on a narrow and short bed, in short the arms dangling because it is so narrow that it cannot be done better. I'm 1.75 and my feet were on the outside. Catering service: kind in the room. Breakfast not bad but nothing exciting, salmon once in 7 days, they put some cheeses with local indications but then they don't tell you what you are choosing. Dinner is a roast suckling pig with soft rind, not roasted, lamb chops with blood on the bone... you can do better. Afternoon snack I attach photos... This hotel in Trentino has only the facade, under corporate management since 2023 and unfortunately it shows. Run by Romans with mostly Roman customers. The structure has its age and you can see it for example when you take a shower, bathroom flooded and water at the bar downstairs. The Trentino atmosphere is not about serving speck in the morning and much more. You can't even make yourself a herbal tea in the room, the kettle seems like a suite service... Price for a week: 3000 eur.
