Garni Alba Bed & Breakfast in Ortisei

We stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast on March 22nd. We could only stay the night, but we wished that it could have been longer as this was a perfect stay. The husband and wife who own this beautiful inn were very kind and accommodating. The husband offered us suggestions for eating and for places to explore. Our room was spacious, clean and it had a beautiful side deck view of the gorgeous mountains. It was so peaceful and surreal to be in such a beautiful location. This is a perfect spot for walking to the center below and it is very close to the Resciesa. In the morning, we had a beautiful breakfast with many options and with amazing views. The wife made us a delicious cappuccino. We would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to this beautiful area. We look forward to the time when we can come back again.

What a gem. The hotel is a quick 10 minute walk into town and walkable to two big lifts for easy skiing. The host is communicative, helpful and generous in giving recommendations on places to ski, things to do and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great. Hotel room was great as well with a beautiful view of the Sasso Lungo. Highly recommend!

Very nice surprise😃. First year when our group of friends skiers choose a b&b instead of a hotel accomodation, but what a nice surprise! Same room conditions, very friendly hosts - tks Sylvan and Kati - nice conversations and all the comfort of a ski chalet. Besides Ortisei has a wonderful architecture and a nice city center where you can spend quality time with friends. Worth coming also during the summer: wonderful landscape and hiking trails. Best choice in Val Gardena area🙏😇

My husband and I LOVED our stay at Garni Alba B&B. This stop was the highlight of our 9-day trip around Europe. The location is unbeatable, with clean facilities and a great breakfast every morning with an amazing view. You can walk to all of the lifts the town has to offer, including the Funicular Resciesa, which is literally a 2-minute walk from the door of the B&B. I recommend going to each lift Ortisei has to offer: Funicular Resciesa, Alpe di Siusi Ropeway, and Seceda Cable Car, all walkable from this B&B. There is a bus station that takes you from Chiusa (Klausen stations). It is also walkable and easier to get to now that there is an escalator system from the center of town. This town has great food, great sights, and awesome artisan shops showcasing the woodwork Ortisei is famous for. Garni Alba Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful home away from home during our stay. 10/10 recommend and hope to be back one day.

Silvan is the best host. We had such good care and service upon arrival and throughout our stay. Silvan gave us wonderful recommendations on things to do and tried to help guide us as best possible. We were comfortable at the BnB and loved the quiet area where it is situated. The breakfast each morning was lovely. The location is in wonderful proximity to the Resciesa and Seceda lifts, which was important to us. It was also an easy walk down into town, but fair warning, there is a lot of elevation change between the heart of town and the BnB so you have some incline to manage on the walk back. There is a free bus system you can use if needed. We chose to walk everywhere. We found that taking the escalator system from town up to the Seceda station and then walking over saved us some climbing. Ortisei was a lovely town. Our favorite thing we did was renting mountain bikes and spending the day on Alpe di Suisi, which was also easy to manage from the BnB location. We would 100% come back and stay here again, and we certainly hope to!

Wow...this was an amazing stay...starting with the owner and his instant responses to questions and making recommendations and then to the beautiful room so well furnished with balcony and amazing view! We just loved staying there soooo much. In addition to every great feature about the room and the B&B, it was great that we could easily and quickly walk to the lifts and to all of the restaurants in Ortisei. There just could not be a better place to stay than here!

Perfect! Fresh, healthy breakfast to give energy for hiking. The room and bathroom were super clean. Everything looked brand new. The decor focused on the beautiful woodwork and did not distract from the incredible mountain and village view out the window (room 11). Tons of closet storage to keep the room tidy and organized for our 5 night stay. The innkeepers are so nice and quick to respond to any messages. I LOVED both neighborhood restaurants that they recommended. Thank you, Sylvan and Kati!

Our family of 3 had the most pleasurable time at Garni Alba. The accomodation was superbly clean and modern and we had the most amazing view of Ortisei. The host was very kind and accomodative throughout the entire process. Breakfast was hearty and wholesome. We would love to visit again in the future

I will remember the friendliness and hospitality most from my stay at Garni Alba. Silvan was so welcoming, my friends and I felt so at home here, and looking back on our whole trip, it made Garni Alba the favorite place we stayed. Our family had a wonderful stay at the Garni Alba B&B. The rooms that we booked were extremely clean and comfortable with a beautiful view over the town of Ortisei. It's location is very close to the Resciesa and Seceda cable cars as well as a short walk into the pretty town of Ortisei with all of its shops and restaurants. The family that owns and runs this B&B is very kind, welcoming, and helpful. We look forward to coming back some day.
