Gran Baita Val di Fassa in Pozza di Fassa

One of the best ski hotels I ever visited, great food, great value for money, great services and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff is incomparable. Everything went smoothly, great service, and the shuttle towards the Ski Lift in the morning was great to have. Every single person in the hotel was very very kind and everyone tries to make you feel like home. Lucian and the rest of the staff was always checking up on us to see if he can help with anything else, we really felt like being part of a family.

This is the second year we are visiting Val di Fassa. We decided to come back to Poza, because we were amazed by everything this family hotel has to offer. Great rooms, good food, clean amaneties, a great miniclub were they entertain children and per request go with them to the ski school, a nice SPA were you can relax, friendly and helpfull staff. We stayed for a entire week and although there were days were the hotel was fully booked with lots of families with small children and the noise could be a little bit more then adults are used to, it is something you might expect in a family hotel. We will come back for sure! Thank you, Gran Baita Family Hotel for another great vacation!

We stayed four days at the hotel and it was great! The position is very close to public transportation and also to the ski slopes. The food was very tasty and served perfectly, the breakfast was varied and the coffee was incredible. They also have a spa which is very nice and clean, with a hot tub, big saunas and a relaxing room. The rooms are clean and comfortable, we loved the terrace which had a great view to the mountains. The staff were great, very professional and always with a smile on their faces. Fabrizio, the manager of the hotel is great, very competent and willing to help you with everything he can. We can’t wait to return and stay a little longer!

We stayed here in winter 2024 and we were skiing. Hotel with good location close to two ski areas - Val di Fassa (part of Sella ronda) and Vigo di Fassa - Ciampedie. Great food, friendly staff, great for families with children, ski bus to both lifts, complete satisfaction. Half board with afternoon snacks - perfect.

The people, the hospitality, the service, the food is .. delicious! Clean! Fun activities for children and adults. The spa is wonderful!

Just returned from our holiday Our room was very well appointed with a generous sized en suite; it was also absolutely spotless and clean. the whole spa area has been beautifully designed. Dinner in the evening consisted of several courses starting with a salad buffet, a pre-starter, main starter, main and dessert - there was an excellent selection of superbly cooked food each night to suit all tastes. We had a six course Gala Dinner. The wine list was very comprehensive and well priced. Every night, without fail we received the best table service I have experienced in a hotel anywhere. In the morning breakfast offered a Continental choice, cooked food and a selection of cereals and pastries. The owner happily deposited and collected us from the Buffare gondola several times during the week. ... Super hotel!!!. We will be returning next year.

great hotel for the winter and summer. Super restaurant with typical dishes. Nice spacious rooms, always very clean. Beautiful living room in a mountain style, impeccable service and very helpful. Wellness area with very professional masseuse. Direction excellent. Beautiful minilcub with plenty of light and children's playground. Hotel recommended! We have several times been guests at Hotel Gran Baita, so it was a pleasant surprise, that the new management of the hotel has raised the level of the hotel, from a good hotel, to an excellent hotel, with the focus on the family.

Today, the hotel have playing areas for children, both inside and outside, even with an adult person to take care of children, and it much used by the families. Ex. during dinner time, where excellent food must be enjoyed, and it takes time, so the children can be a little impatient, and then the children have a good alternative with the supervised playing area.

We enjoyed the stay so much, not of one reason but many. Such as:

The staff of the hotel is something else. They do all they can so you enjoy your stay. Starting in the reception, over the restaurant, to the staff taking care of the rooms and children and do not forget the excellent kitchen staff.

We enjoyed the food so much; It is Italian food when it is the best. We had a daily choice of many different meals, such as, traditional Italian dishes, local dishes, gourmet dishes, children's menu, and what was important for us, vegetarian courses as my wife is a vegetarian. When the food is accompanied with excellent service in the restaurant, then the meal is superb.

Even our dog loves the hotel.
