Excellent hotel - peaceful, spotless, excellent service. The restaurant is superb both in terms of cuisine and service. Impeccable. Highly recommended, we enjoyed our stay very much. Great value, a gem of a hotel. Pasquale will take good care of you in the restaurant.

We stayed here for 5 nights and overall we has a very nice time but there's some aspects the hotel needs to improve on. The pool, gardens and surrounds are very modern, nice and clean. The rooms are nice and spacious. The reception and restaurant service staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was very expansive and they offered high quality produce which was fantastic. The food and service in the restaurant was exceptional, although the servings were very small. Now for some negative points:

* We pulled up to the hotel in our car and weren't offered any help to carry our bags despite us seeing numerous staff in the lobby area just staring at us. This was quite strange and certainly didn't set a good tone for the stay.
* There were no staff around the pool so if you wanted a drink or if you needed sun beds (there was a short supply of sun beds), you had to walk to reception and ask which is rather annoying. On the one occasion we did order drinks to the pool, we waited for 30-45 minutes then I had to walk back to the bar to remind them and ended up carrying them down myself. Why not have someone come down to the pool every 30 minutes and ask if anyone would like drinks? It's an opportunity to create more revenue.
*The shower leaked in the bathroom - easily fixed but the hotel should keep on top of maintenance issues like this.
* The A/C was very noisy - same as above
* WiFi was extremely slow and there was no coverage in the restaurant or pool - look to invest in a decent internet connection and wifi extenders for your hotel guests.
* The "double bed" is the usual european standard of pushing 2 single beds together - I know this is normal in Europe but it's still something to mention.

Amazing hotel! Beautiful facility with excellent customer service ideal to explore the area

This is a really beautiful hotel. The gardens are breathtaking. The staff very helpful. A paradise. The downside is you need transport to go anywhere. The real downside is that it is a wedding hotel. We stayed 4 days and there was a wedding everyday including Sunday. And the hotel does not want ordinary guests around the hotel. The gardens are cordoned off and the restaurant is closed. They do offer use of the beach club about a kilometre away. You can walk to it. Sun beds and umbrella are free but you have to pay 5 euro for a towel. Hotel should not charge for this. Drink prices are not cheap here. Food prices are reasonable.
I really liked the hotel. But they need to rethink how they treat guests when there are weddings. Which according to staff we spoke to is almost everyday.
There is a one star Michelin restaurant next door if you are feeling flush.

Love it! Had my daughters wedding here, we had an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to all for any occasion.

I stayed at the Esplanade yesterday, the location was very beatiful, the food was good and plentiful, I'm pleasantly satisfied
