Hotel Monte Triplex in Sauze D'oulx

Had our lunch here. "Seating charrge" of €2.50 per person, overpriced food, dirty toilets , no toilet paper and snow was not cleared, even though they had lots of staff standing around. Terrible experience, would not go there again.

Food was good but in my room the handle for the window, when you pull on it, it comes off. Also the shower when you turn it on it burns your hand. There are also many other problems.

The location of Monte Triplex is superb – very centrally located in the Sauze d’Oulx skiing area (at over 2100 m altitude!) and surrounded by some other restaurants and pubs. Their offering is competitively priced for half board at such a location. The structure feels old and the wooden walls offer little sound proofing. The rooms are no-nonsense, including stiff (and worn-out) mattresses. Some additional power outlets wouldn’t harm, as we needed to disconnect lights to charge our cell phones.
The hotel staff acts like a group of friends having a good time in the mountains. They certainly do everything within their power to accommodate your needs (though some of them were very inexperienced waiters, but learning during our stay). A few times per week, the hotel offers some great après-ski atmosphere with loud music. Please bear in mind that on those occasions, it’s hard to find a quiet place (remember the limited sound proofing of the hotel rooms).
All in all, we had a great week of skiing!

I would never stay there again. It was terrible. The doors don't shut to the bathrooms. It needs updating. The food wasn't cooked properly. Poor service and the most expensive hotel in sportinia.
