Hotel Tyrol in Selva di Val Gardena

A beautiful hotel with incredible staff and amazing food! We immediately felt so welcomed and the staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. We can't say enough good things about Hotel Tyrol and already want to go back one day!

I don’t know what could have possibly made our stay here better. In Val Gardena for 5 days of hiking, the location was perfect. It was an easy walk to trail heads and to the Dantercepies gondola, as well as into town. We were greeted with a drink and light snack on our arrival, letting us decompress from the journey. Our room was spacious, well appointed and incredibly comfortable. The whole room smelled of wood from the shiplap on the walls and the wood floors, making you feel like you were in your own private cabin even though you were in a hotel. The bathroom was large and modern, the balcony was a treat to sit on. And there was plenty of storage for our regular clothes and my gear. The dining room provided an excellent breakfast and dinner, with wonderful service. The bar was excellent as well. We had one dinner at Suinson, and while expensive, it was worth the splurge and was a real treat. My wife and I both took advantage of their spa for massages, as well as using the pool. All were wonderful. The gym onsite is more than adequate as well, although I spent enough time outdoors that it wasn’t needed. 10/10 - I can’t recommend Hotel Tyrol enough. I never wanted to leave.

Luxury rooms; fantastic breakfast spread and great restaurant and bar. Decent workout facility, outdoor and indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms, a few steps from the ski lift. The staff is friendly, amazingly helpful at organizing what you need for ski equipment, and the hotel is managed efficiently.

We very much enjoyed this phenomenal hotel and the hospitality that exuded every single moment from our arrival to our sad departure! The beautiful rooms, Tyrian design details, the food, the bar, the cleanliness, spa, ski lockers with boot warmers, all were exceptional!! But the one thing you can't replace is the level of courtesy, professionalism, and service witnessed everywhere throughout the hotel!!! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Exceptionally clean, wonderful people, perfect location and amazing spa facilities!

What a great hotel and experience! Food was excellent, really recommend to go for half board. Fixed meny changes every day, then you have a la carte options to choose from - all was superwell prepared and tasty. Spa was very nice, with multiple saunas, pools and salt rooms - very cosy Staff is so friendly and super professional. Excellent experience - 5 star treatment!

Yet another amazing stay at the Tyrol . The staff are very attentive and the facilities are excellent. The food is wonderful with a lovely selection for breakfast or dinner. The rooms are very comfortable with the staff paying special attention to detail at all times . Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Tyrol during the February half-term. Travelling as a large group of 10, we were very well accommodated. Location & Convenience The hotel is perfectly located, just a 30-second walk from the first pommer lift, which connects to the Dantercepies cabins (on the Sellaronda route). There is also a ski bus right outside the hotel for the Ciampinoi cabins. There is a ski rental shop conveniently next door. The ski room is excellent, with individually heated lockers for each room. Rooms Our rooms were spacious, with ample storage for luggage and ski gear. Each room had a balcony, offering lovely views, and the well-appointed bathrooms were kept clean throughout our stay. Food & Dining Breakfast was fantastic, offering a buffet with fresh fruits, cereals, Bircher muesli, and an array of cakes. A hot breakfast was cooked to order, served promptly, and delicious. We also had dinner at the hotel multiple times, and every meal was a great experience. Facilities The wellness area is a highlight, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, spa facilities, and a sports centre equipped with two treadmills, an elliptical machine, and a variety of weights. For families, smaller children can enjoy the ball pit area and ping-pong table. My only gripe is that the table football requires coins—at this price point, I would have expected it to be free. Bar The bar is great and well stocked. While the live singer every night added to the atmosphere, it might not be necessary every evening. The staff was very friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would definitely return!

Cannot fault this beautiful hotel. We arrived to a complimentary drink at the bar and amazing snacks. The meals are incredible, so much so that we didn’t bother to try the Michelin star restaurant within the hotel. Room , fabulous. The best bed, a bathroom to die for, oodles of towels and even flip flops to go to the spa!! And the spa….the best I’ve ever experienced. I will struggle to go anywhere else for a ski holiday in the future. Top stay , thank you Tyrol x

Excellent service. Beautiful views. Great food. Relaxing spa area. Close to everything in town including a cheese making diary farm and a gondola to take up for views and hiking up where the ski trails are.
