Very old hotel not renovated. Nevertheless human approach is very nice and kind. We had to complain for the 1st room offered. They attended properly and nicely. But as said, the building and furniture/decoration is very very very old and used. Buffete for breakfast and dinner is 5/10 So not bad, not good either. Low offer for such kind of resort.

Our recent stay at Club Esse Roccaruja was unfortunately far from the relaxing and enjoyable holiday we had hoped for. While the surrounding beach is beautiful, the overall experience at the hotel left us with serious concerns and disappointment. 1. Unprofessional Staff Behavior: One of the most upsetting aspects of our stay was the behavior of a staff member named Marco. His actions felt discriminatory, as he seemed to deliberately ignore us while engaging warmly with other guests. His attitude was not only unwelcoming but also made us feel uncomfortable and excluded. 2. Poor Food Variety & Quality: The food offered lacked variety and freshness. For example, there were no fresh boiled eggs at breakfast, which is a basic expectation in most resorts. If you’re looking for a decent culinary experience, this is not the place. 3. Lack of Basic Hygiene Supplies: Towels and shampoo were not replenished daily, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 4-star. Even though we asked staffs couple of times to put shampoo and towels daily 4. Unsafe Kids’ Pool Area: I experienced a serious safety issue when I fell and injured my knee in the children’s pool area. The surface was old and not properly maintained. Shockingly, there was even a rusty nail visible— dangerous, especially for children. 5. Not Family-Friendly: Although marketed as a family hotel, it really isn't. The loud music playing non-stop until midnight made it incredibly hard to get kids to sleep. Even for adults, the volume and duration were disturbing. 6. Dirty and Outdated Facilities: The hotel itself is very old and not well-maintained. The cleanliness left much to be desired. Coffee and tea mugs were often stained or dirty, and that reflects poor hygiene practices. 7. Mixed Staff Behavior & Language Barriers: While some staff were friendly, many others were rude or indifferent. Most notably, Marco’s behavior made us feel unwelcome. Also, very few staff members spoke or understood English, making communication frustrating. 8. Remote Location: The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. There are no nearby shops or restaurants, so you’re forced to rely entirely on what the hotel offers, which is limited and not worth the price. 9. Misleading Star Rating: This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but based on our experience, it should be rated much lower. The facilities, service, food, and overall experience do not meet the standard. 10. WiFi Connectivity Issues: WiFi did not work in our room. We had to go to the reception area just to connect, which was inconvenient. 11. Small Pool: The pool was much smaller than expected and not suitable for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. 12. Beach Distance: While the beach is beautiful, it’s not as accessible as advertised. It’s a bit of a walk, which may not be suitable for families with young kids or elderly guests. Been here for 1 week room no clean bathroom as well no clean , hotel looks so old , some staff friendly some staff rude , there is one pool and small pool and need to clean pool every day , but beach so nice and close to hotel and every night they have music and ı can’t sleep because of voice.

This is a simply awful hotel with a terrible attitude towards customer service. Don't come here expecting to sleep well, the hotel plays loud music from its 'piano bar' just below the rooms until midnight, EVERY night during the summer. The hotel will not compromise on this, by the way - when I complained, I was told, that "you cannot expect to obtain silence during hours when it is not legally required". Cannot sleep because of the noise until midnight? Too bad. Oh, and they take payment for your entire stay when you check in, so you have no bargaining power whatsoever. The food choices each evening are few and, aside from the excellent pizzas, poor and generally lukewarm. There is ZERO WiFi in the rooms. None. You want to work or catch up on emails? Then you'll have to go to the public lobby. This hotel also runs a small strip of the beach adjacent to La Pelosa on a rocky shore (not the golden sand of La Pelosa) - they charge their own guests EUR 50 for a sunbed, chair and umbrella during the week, EUR 60 on weekends, it is simply exploitative. I booked for six nights half board, left after three. Not a chance of a partial refund, just an offer to be moved to a 'less noisy' part of the hotel, 24 hours after my first complaint about the noise. What a dreadful establishment.

Not very nice experience. From the beginning I tried to get some advice or help from people at reception and they didn’t understand much English,they were guessing but not really trying to help,same thing with the people from the restaurant, not a clue. So frustrating! I don’t know why on their website say they speak English when they’re clearly not. Also the bathroom and the whole room dirty, with hair everywhere, dust, water marks on the mirror. The TV with a terrible signal and only with local channels. No wifi in the room, unbelievable! I stayed for almost a week and I was desperate to leave. Definitely not coming back. They should hire people who speak not just Italian and check properly the cleaning service.
