The water is so clear that on calm days you would swear it was glass. The pool area is well organized, with separate areas of loungers if you prefer some quiet time during the day

The seafood in particular is outstanding

Every year we visit (this was our third), the food experience gets better and better, with an incredible variety of foods prepared by chefs that results in what feels like a truly elevated experience over many other resorts

What an amazing stay! Besides the incredible facilities, great location, stunning rooms (we got a superior with jacuzzi), the staff was extremely accomodating to all of our needs

From the moment you are greeted by the friendly reception desk, prepare for a truly enjoyable and memorable vacation at the Rocca Nettuno resort

Watch out for traffic if walking out of the property, specially with children, since it is near a busy intersection with no walkway. Property has a restaurant and a nice swimming pool. Good view of downtown from the top

Great location just steps away from the main walkway through the town of Tropea. Quiet, nice pool, variety of food at breakfast and pleasant staff!! Would stay here again and recommend to my friends in Canada.🇨🇦

Overall, we had a good experience here. One problem was the shower size. Also, it's not a flat walk to the city center. Expect to walk up and down the hill

Hotel Tropis is great! It is clean and the rooms. 4 minute walk to train station. Short walk to city centre and the beach. The pool is great and relaxing environment

We stayed in a room with a sea view, a gorgeous view. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but acceptable. The only thing is that there was no free water in the room

Good location, a 3 minute walk to downtown. The included parking is convenient since it is otherwise difficult to park in the area

The air conditioning was perfect. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. The view of the coast from the hotel is stunning and the location made it very easy to walk to both the beach and downtown Tropea

The balcony was large, had a private jacuzzi, and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. The staff was warm, welcoming, and super helpful. It was only a 12-13 minute walk to the old town

There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs

The rooms are quite nice, although would say the sound isolation isn't the best. Huge shout-out to restaurant waiter Minteh. This person showed much professionalism in his field and was a fun a person to talk to

Ideal place for someone who doesn't like to be in the pathway of tourists or doesn't like too much noise from cars driving by. The bar/lounge area was also great

Restaurant serves great food, excellent breakfast. Dinner is open to locals and good value with an excellent reputation. Our room was in the main building with balcony views of the pool and ocean

We loved our stay at Hotel Borgo Di Santa Barbara. Easily communicated with hotel manager Martina throughout the duration of our stay through WhatsApp - scheduling transit and shuttles from Aurelio (staff)

A wonderful B&B in the heart of Tropea. Just a few steps from the Belvedere Piazza del Cannone, located in a small side street. The owner is a very friendly person who takes his time and is always ready to help

He also runs a bar nearby, where we picked up our keys and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next day. The B&B's facilities are perfect: the room is spacious and has large windows overlooking the Piazza

Very comfortable bed, good heat and power to the shower, clean place nice service beautiful area would recommend. Caring and friendly staff very close to the beach lots of local shops for food not short on options

Check in during the off season. Tropea is actually a city that relies heavily on tourism. It’s really not suitable to go in winter

Amazing room with a close location to the beach and right in the center of town. Breakfast comes with an amazing bite from Caffe del Corso. Host is kind and accommodating and room is clean and quiet

Just get a regular room, don’t pay extra for this. The hottub is just a jetted bathtub, the water doesn’t get hot, just lukewarm and the jets were not very strong and there was film in the water before we got in

It was a nice stay, everyone was friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and very nice! We liked that it was walking distance to shops and restaurants, which were really good ! We thought the beach was accessible by walking , so we went through this area off the parking lot but quickly figured it was not part of the resort

You can book a shuttle to take you there and back though and it is definitely worth seeing! The food was good, but we did go off the resort for authentic Calabrian food which was amazing! There wasn’t much to do on the resort , especially during off season when it’s a little colder

The pool area is beautiful but we didn’t get to use it much unfortunately, as it was cold. You can also take the shuttle down town but it is an easy 10 minute walk

The pools were nice and refreshing! The breakfast was nice. Location was good - only about a 10 minute walk to the centre

Second time I have stayed here . The best in Atea

The bathroom had terrible ventilation and smelt like stale water. We could also hear the people above us moving around so loudly and when we asked to move, the lady said she’d organise it tomorrow and never did

Also the beach in Tropea was also one of the best beaches we have every visited

They also were very quick to set up tours to different towns and also had a van service readily available at all times. The views from the terrace were probably one of the best views of any place I have ever been

We were greeted upon arrival with the owners Claudia and Letizia and every day one of them were always available for any our questions or concerns. They made up feel like family at all times

Our rooms were cleaned every day and breakfast was fantastic! I would not hesitate to stay at La Dolce Vita the next time we visit Tropea; I give La Dolce Vita and their staff 5 stars!

Fortunately able to get a room here after another disastrous booking. Close to everything walking, breakfast offered everything we wanted including fresh coffee. Weather wasn’t conducive to use the pool, beach etc

The gateway to the sea! A perfect name for this property directly overlooking the sea. The view and the wonderful sunsets alone make this hotel worth staying at

The place is cosy. Highland atmosphere. Picturesque views. Nice swimming pool. Personnel is very friendly. Good for couples, families to relax. The shortest way to get to the beach is by personal car.

The delicious dinner in the covered outdoor-restaurant has an outstanding view to the mediterranean sea and coasts of Tropea. The kitchen use fresh food everyday with cultivated vegetables from the own yard

The rooms/appartements, pool and complex are really clean. Rooms were cleaned by staff everyday. Not comparable to other accommodations we saw in Italy

It was a beautiful time in this hotel, and the owners Ciccio nd Lorenzo were very nice and helpful with my daughter nd me. Perfect kitchen with calabrian specialties. A lot of good energy and love from Lourdes Furci

The carbonata is the best one i ever eaten in my life. (and i'm italian) I can recommend this piece of heaven for everyone who wants understand the italian way of life. Best place to be in Calabria

The breakfast was delicious , the Cakes are homemade. Marialusia was always happy to help and give advice on recommendations. The town center is in short walking distance. The hotel has beach access via stairs

The Hotel was perfect, its managed from a very friendly Family. The Room was beautiful and big newly renovated, we requested two single Beds without hesitation we received two Queen beds

The room has a fridge with a bottle of water, also a very well stocked kitchen, the bathroom is stocked with towels and sea salt shampoo and body wash

Located a few minutes from the center of Tropea and 10 'from the beaches, it offers studios equipped with all comforts. The only drawback there is no liquid soap (perhaps due to anti-COVID rules)

I don't have enough stars to give to Stefania and her hospitality but also for the nice and detailed taste for the furniture and cleaning The room is as you can see in the photos, cleanliness is at the next level

A very pleasant place, nice room, equipped with a refrigerator (which is essential). The bathroom was well-equipped, and we had plenty of it. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; we felt well-cared for.

The rooftop terrace has an unbeatable view of sea, town and landscape, it's really hard to leave. I 100% recommend and will stay here again for sure!

Great place! The location is perfect — right in the city center, close to everything, yet the room is quiet and peaceful. The room itself is beautiful, very clean, and exactly as shown in the photos

I had a fantastic stay at Blu Tropea! The location was extremely convenient, making it easy to explore the beautiful town. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and my room was spotless every day

Ornella truly went above and beyond to make my stay perfect — she prepared fresh coffee and breakfast for me each morning, kept my room immaculate, and even made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy Tropea to the fullest

Also, travel light: you’ll need to carry your own luggage through the town and up a few flights of stairs. There’s no car access to the property

Because of this we did not use the pool at all and we love to hang at the pool and not just the beach

The pillows are little hard I think. But what was the most disappointing thing for us was that you need to wear a cap on your head when bathing in the pool

We have a nice balcony area with a view of the piazza, a nice skylight in the bathroom, and a great aesthetic as you come up the spiral stairs. Only downside - if you are at least average height, make sure to duck

The fridge was stocked with food and drinks each for a small charge. The location is great: 10 mins from beach and 5 mins from a supermarket about 15 mins from the town centre

Such a beautiful place to stay! The woman who owns the place is lovely and very caring! The rooms are very nice, very clean and the price is great for what you get! The location is perfect for exploring the town and going to the beach and the balcony is great for breakfast and even remote work! (Wi-Fi is perfect - never had any trouble while working)

Best host ever I will say this. I left my cpap on train lamezia station realized it when I exited train in Tropea. Host at hotel called someone and bag was delivered to my room next day

Joseph even dropped us to the train station at their busiest time which is breakfast! We are already planning our next trip there!
