The property was absolutely the best!
The room was clean and Ornella was always available to our needs. She was always checking on us to be sure we had everything we need it since the time we arrived to the moment we had to leave.
Great location, right in the middle of shops and restaurants.
And the view was to die for!!

What an amazing place! Right on the cliff, overlooking beautiful Tropea beach. Watch the sunset from the window with a drink! What a view!

I had a fantastic stay at Blu Tropea! The location was extremely convenient, making it easy to explore the beautiful town. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and my room was spotless every day. Ornella truly went above and beyond to make my stay perfect — she prepared fresh coffee and breakfast for me each morning, kept my room immaculate, and even made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy Tropea to the fullest. Thanks to her warm hospitality and attention to detail, my experience here was absolutely wonderful.

This was an amazing stay at an amazing property, in such a historical building, it was very important for me to have a view from the historic Tropea Skyline, the room was very comfortable and big, there is air conditioning, some review said there wasn't, there is definitely air conditioning. A delicious breakfast each morning, and such a hospitable staff that made you feel like you were a family rather than a guest. Don't hesitate on booking as this is one of the few hotels available in the skyline, and of course enjoy that view.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropea Blu Maison. It’s set in an original, rustic building full of charm, located right on a beautiful piazza overlooking the beach. The location is ideal — the piazza has plenty of great bars and restaurants just steps away. We highly recommend opting for the ocean view upgrade — it was absolutely worth it and made our mornings and evenings feel extra special. A special mention to Orlana, who made our breakfasts something to look forward to every day with her warmth and hospitality. Just be aware: this is a very basic accommodation, so don’t expect a 5-star experience — it’s all about character, not luxury. Also, travel light: you’ll need to carry your own luggage through the town and up a few flights of stairs. There’s no car access to the property. All in all, a great stay if you’re looking for charm, views, and location over creature comforts.

We booked this hotel for the amazing room views —we were told we were booking the oceanfront room, but we did not get it. Which we weren’t surprised about since there were other reviews stated that has been an issue. For our 1 night stay the room was perfectly fine (we actually wished we stayed in Tropea longer). The breakfast and employees were very nice. It’s a nice place in a very cute town, they just need to stop overselling the ocean view rooms/adjust expectations.

I had a wonderful stay at Blu Tropea Maison. Walking into my room and opening up the doors to see and hear the sea was amazing! Andrea was super helpful and accommodating, helping me check train times for Sicily, and Signora Ornella was a wonderful breakfast/ cleaning queen!
My room was spotless, and breakfast was delicious with loads of options. I left my luggage after checkout which was really helpful.
I definitely recommend Blu Tropea for your trip to Tropea - it's super special to stay right on the sea. I also had fun trying to spot my window from the garden at Santa Maria dell'Isola! Grazie per tutto Andrea e Ornella

This was a gem of a property. You just cannot beat the view and the location. Ornella made us feel right at home. She's a doll. Andrea was a fountain of knowledge and helped us book a super interesting tour of Stromboli.

This place is closed for when we wanted to come but they arranged a nice alternative hotel.
