We’ve just finished a lovely 4 night stay in the Hotel Renato (late January 2026). A few pointers for other guests not mentioned in other reviews that may be helpful:
-there is plenty of free parking in the hotel car park plus one bay for EV charging (the EV charging bay was always available whilst we were there).
-there is immediate walking access to a ski lift and small ski area (ski lift Catinaccio) with a few pistes behind the hotel but it is not connected to the main dolomite superski area (and/or Sella Ronda)
-to access the main Dolomite Superski area (and Sella Ronda) you will need to either take the hotel bus (can be rebooked the day before with fixed transfer times) or the public ski bus.
-Alternatively you can drive to the Buffaure Pozza Di Fazza lift about 8 minute drive away. We did this every day and there is plenty of free parking at the lift. However it takes a good 45 mins to access the main Dolomite Ski area and Sella Ronda so better suited to fast skiers. The return run to the ski lift and car park area (Panorama) is a fantastic easy red run with fabulous views as the name suggests. There’s also a more challenging black run (Vulcano) but easy going for any advanced skier.
-breakfast and dinner at the hotel were fantastic. Plenty of choice and options and high quality
-there is complimentary cake and hot drinks served between 4:30pm and 5:30pm (ski season) although we didn’t really utilise this as we were still on the slopes most days
-apres ski in Vigo Di Fassa is subdued but there are a 3 bars within easy walking distance of the hotel for a pre-dinner drink
-the hotel bar is open until 11pm but we didn’t use and seemed quiet every night during our stay
- the wellness and spa centre was nice with a heated indoor/outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and steam room and sauna. Fully clothed as a family hotel so comfortable for everyone but the odd German insisting on stripping off and being told to put their clothes back on!
Good hotel, would stay again, but if you are looking for immediate ski on/off access to the main dolomite ski area this isn’t the one for you.

Excellent hotel. Its located a few meters away from the chairlift. Nice and spacious rooms. Parking available. Excellent and friendly staff. They are very well informed and helpful. Good food. Clean property. Highly recommended also for families with young children.

Excellent time together with my family, great accommodation for us three. With the cosy atmosphere, swimming pool and welcoming rooms, no wonder we returned, so spent our ski vacation in February 2024 and 2025. Thank

Rooms: are clean, comfy and with a lot space. Views are amazing.
Food: breakfast has a lot of variety and everything was delicious.
Service: we needed some assistance with a space to have a meeting and they helped us with that. I have to give a special thanks to Alessia, she gave us every possible solution and made us feel welcome during our stay.
I recommend this place more than 1 day so you can really enjoy all the facilities. My only regret is I didn't stay there more time there
There's is a little room outside with a great view where you can enjoy some time just reading or a glass of wine.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights recently and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely, the food was good, the room was comfortable, and the location is really close to the gondola that goes up to wonderful hiking. (Catinaccio). We would definitely stay here again.

The online booking process online was easy and questions answered promptly. Free parking was available as we had hired a car. We had a triple room which was compact as it was obviously intended for 2 people. It was clean, and had everything you could need. The ski room in the basement allowed us to store our skis and boots in a locker allocated for the room. A real bonus was the free shuttle minibus to the lifts in the valley eg Campitello or Canazei , which could be booked the night before and this also brought us back . The couple who transported us were friendly and helpful, patiently waiting for us when the last lift was late. A really nice touch was the afternoon coffee/tea and pastries - all delicious- were waiting on our return to the hotel. The staff were always helpful and had good English if required. We had half board and we were not disappointed. The evening meals were fantastic, 4 courses with great choice of cold starters and hot antipasti. The menu varied throughout the week and the desert courses were very good. Breakfast was equally good with healthy options and lots of choice. If you wanted, you could use the spa facilities on demand with a jacuzzi, small swimming pool and wonderful views of the mountain. Overall we can highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were friendly, made us feel very welcome and we cannot wait to come back next year.
