Hotel Goldener Stern in Sant'Antonio

Was here for pizza and beers and service was great. Wide variety of pizza offerings on the menu and my order was delicious! Staff are sweet and patient, offering to explain menu and drink offerings. Service was fast given a 7pm visit on a Saturday. Did not stay here.

Location is great, directly in the old town.
Good value for the price.

Our stay at the Goldenen Hotel in Kaltern am See, specifically in the "Top of Kaltern" room, was a delightful blend of comfort and personalized hospitality. As a well-traveled couple from England and Taiwan, now residing in Munich, Germany, we appreciated the hotel's warm atmosphere more than its opulence. The "Top of Kaltern" room, introduced in May 2022, more than met our expectations with its modern yet cozy ambiance. The firm & comfy bed, the charming balcony adorned with a mosaic table, chairs, and a cozy day bed, created a serene retreat. The open bathroom area, featuring underfloor heating, integrated well into the room's layout, offering a comfortable space for couples. Complete with essential amenities such as a closet, desk, chair, fridge, and ambient lighting, the room provided both functionality and charm. Booking through the hotel's official website proved to be hassle-free, with the staff offering remarkable flexibility and swiftness when we needed to adjust our dates twice, accommodating our requests without any penalties. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and laid-back staff, who guided us to the private parking garage and wellness area, while also extending warm welcome drinks and coupons for local establishments. Though the garage and wellness area were a short walk from the hotel, the private footpath and elevators ensured convenient access, although guests with mobility concerns should inquire about any potential obstacles as there were a few steps here and there along the way. Throughout our stay, the staff exemplified exceptional friendliness and attentiveness, from the front desk to breakfast service and room maintenance. The daily leaflets on the breakfast tables, featuring staff greetings, regional weather updates, and local recommendations, added a personal touch that enhanced our experience. The tranquil outdoor pool and sauna facilities, while not the most luxurious, offered a peaceful retreat. With amenities including a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and dry sauna, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxation time. In summary, our stay was defined by its relaxing and cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and thoughtful touches, making it a memorable retreat overall.

Beautiful hotel with very nice staff. The food in the restaurant is excellent, many people come from all over to taste the pizza. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'm always glad when I can go to a golden star. Very centrally located and still quiet.

Centrally located hotel with convenient private parking. Beautiful rooms, great breakfast. Fantastic outdoor pool with great views, small but well run spa. Friendly staff.

I have been since 07.09. - 09/11/2020 at this hotel and can only warmly recommend it. Very friendly, courteous staff, beautiful, clean rooms, plentiful, first class breakfast, excellent wellness center, central location. The food at the nearby restaurant is also commendable. Everything was great... we will be back.

There is only one word here: excellent!! Despite the ban on entering the hotel, you can unpack your suitcase. All employees without exception are friendly and responsive. The room is clean and modern. The best wellness center. Slept very well. The breakfast is just great. Thank you for a pleasant stay

Staying at Goldener Stern is an unforgettable experience. You need this to understand what it means to love yourself. You come home with regret, but with a huge positive charge, to face the daily battle. Thanks to all the staff and the lovely owners family.

Just left the hotel after spending 4 nights and 3 wonderful days there.
Amazing hotel with great facilities, wellness area ,sauna, jacuzzi and a beautiful and very nicely mainained outside pool, with a great garden and stunning view over the Dolmites.
The whole staff very professional, friendly and attentive. I have to mention here the reception team who regardless our very late check in ,made us feel welcome and we were even given the chance to choose between 3 rooms!!!
The breakfast was delicious and after spending the whole morning at the pool , we always found the room impeccably cleaned.
Now it goes without saying that I highly recommend this hotel to those who arrive in Südtirol/ South Tyrol, one of the most beautiful places in Europe.
