Villa Imperamare in Santa Maria

With its excellent location, very good breakfasts and comfortable, modern accommodation this hotel is highly recommended. Above all it was the warmth of the welcome and friendliness of Alphonsina and her sister, Anna Risa - who run the hotel - that impressed. Free parking is available within easy walking distance. We would certainly return.

The property is spotless, equipped with every comfort, and located in a very central area, just a few minutes' walk from the sea, right on the main street. But what's really worth mentioning is the hospitality of Alfonsina and Annarosa! They made us feel at home from the first moment, super helpful, always available, and attentive to our every need. I highly recommend everyone to stay here; the tranquility and attention to guests here is truly exceptional.

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a weekend and can only say I was completely satisfied. The welcome was warm and the hospitality of the owners was exceptional, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished, with a lovely view of the surrounding landscape. Breakfast was a real highlight: plentiful, varied, and prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The B&B is strategically located, ideal for exploring the surrounding area, yet at the same time immersed in tranquility, perfect for those seeking relaxation. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly stay. I can't wait to return!

Excellent B&B nestled in a beautiful garden, at the beginning of Castellabate's pedestrian street. Centrally located, yet, thanks to the garden, very quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday. New, tastefully furnished rooms. Excellent cleanliness. Excellent breakfast, complemented by the kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness of Mariarosa, who, along with her sister Alfonsina, runs the B&B. Their hospitality makes your holiday even more relaxing, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The sea is just a pleasant 5-minute walk away along the pedestrian street.

We are delighted with our stay from June 13 to 20, 2024 at Villa Imperamare. It is accessed by a pretty little flowered path; the garden, very well maintained, is a concentrate of Mediterranean vegetation with varieties of flowers, lemons and citrons. EVERYTHING BREATHES CALM, BEAUTY AND KINDNESS. Hearty and delicious breakfast, homemade products. Impeccable comfort and cleanliness and strategic location. Forget the car! You are a stone's throw from the Corso, a pleasant promenade that takes you directly to the Marina piccola and other beaches. Alfonsina and Annarosa, you truly exceeded all our expectations. We had such a fabulous 13 nights here. Alfonsina and her family were the perfect hosts. The whole place is gorgeous, retaining lots of original features like the floor tiles in the breakfast room Alfonsina was really helpful and spoke amazing English, which was rare in Santa Maria! I appreciate her trying to teach me a couple of new Italian words a day, too. We're from Birmingham, UK and found it easy to get to, direct flight to Naples, Alibus to the station, train to Agropoli anf the 34/35 bus to about 2 minutes away from Villa Imperamere. The only difficult thing was working out which side of the road to stand on for the bus but I recommend using the Moovit app to plan any bus journeys and learning how to say 'where is the bus stop to Santa Maria' (mind you, in Paestum we were told the wrong side but luckily someone saw the 2 of us standing on opposite sides and came to the rescue) If you want to see Castellabate, there's a local bus that goes from the car park by Olivers on the square nearer the beaches that only cost €1.20 each. It's worth visiting for the views. Just check the bus times as they're rather infrequent. There are plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. We ate at Pibaro 3 times the pizza was that good! Nautilus is also amazing, but it was very quiet being a Tuesday evening in September. The garden is beautiful, and we wish we had brought/bought bug spray to enjoy it more - next time Breakfasts were lovely, and I don't know how Alfonsina manages to cook such perfect cakes each day! The coffee angel also comes and delivers endless coffees, too ☕️‍♀️ I feel so fortunate to have stayed in such an amazing place for my first trip to Italy. I hope we can come back next year ❤️

Alphonso an and Annarosa are incredible, warm and friendly hosts. Updated, meticulously clean and attention to every detail needed-even provided Beach Towels! Highly recommend Villa Imperamare. We loved staying there!

Absolutely unbelievable stay at Villa Imperamare for our wedding!! Stayed in a sea view room and the suite and could not fault anything about the stay! We were treated like royalty from the second we arrived! After a stressful day traveling we were recorded with a warm welcome and a cool Aperol Spritz. Alfonsia and family were amazing! The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to such a high standard. The breakfast was phenomenal including lovely strong fresh coffee and croissants the size of my head! They made myself, my partner and all my bridesmaids and their partners feel at home and left no stone unturned in making our holiday and wedding unforgettable. Nothing was too much effort for them, even down to making the breakfast room a bridal preparation room and lining the stairs case with flowers from there amazing garden on the wedding day! I would recommend everyone to stay here! This place holds a special place in my heart and we will definitely be back for anniversaries! Thank you so much for such an unforgettable time!
