Hotel La Marina in Santa Maria

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights.
I'll start by saying that in the space of 8 nights, I had to change rooms three times.
The first room, located on the second floor, had blood-stained towels, squashed flies on the walls, and so much dust on the sheets that when you sat down on the bed, a "tsunami" of dust would rise up.
The second room was clean compared to the first, but had a tiny bathroom, and it only had a bidet, located inside the toilet.
After constant complaints, the third room was fortunately much cleaner, but it too had many flaws, especially the cleanliness of the sheets, which left something to be desired.
Every morning when I woke up, all it took was a second of opening and closing the door for the room to take on a revolting, onion-like smell.
Furthermore, at the end of this obscene experience, I had to pay €1.30 for a coffee I hadn't drunk, but which, according to the hotel, a member of my room had consumed.
A word of advice: if you want to stay in filthy surroundings and smell of onions first thing in the morning, you can go there.

Run away!

A decidedly negative experience. The room assigned to us was very small and felt like it had been converted from an old utility room or warehouse. It also faced directly onto the main road, causing constant, deafening noise both day and night, making it impossible to get a proper night's sleep.

The shower was broken and was neither repaired nor replaced during our stay, the wardrobe was damaged, and the breakfast was rather poor compared to what one would expect.

Considering the price paid, especially in August, the service provided was well below expectations. Absolutely inadequate value for money.

Refinement is not the method of the staff and customer satisfaction is the goal of the tourist activity of the hotel la Marina.

Parking, announced by telephone, in fact not usable because it is outside the guaranteed theoretical capacity. Guarantee based on verbal agreements between the hotel manager and the parking manager.

Lido guaranteed, but at the discretion of the manager. The established prices are negotiated on the basis of the mere convenience of the manager.
The lido, thus defined, is in reality simply a wooden platform with sunbeds and umbrellas.
To get on the water you absolutely have to wear flip flops to walk a piece of the road.

The sea view is only for the "lucky" few of a few rooms on the top floor (without a lift).

The proposed toilets are just an understatement. I expected this service in a motel (shower and bidet clogged immediately after use, shower tray doors that come off on contact).

The house wine offered absolutely gross.

Central location and air-conditioned areas.
