Hotel Alba in Torre Lapillo

Standard rooms, a little small bathroom and shower cabin and no pay TV, but all in all they are welcoming. I confirm the intervention of the vacuum cleaner at 3 am but the windows guarantee excellent soundproofing. Only the rooms are air conditioned while in the common areas the air conditioners are almost never turned on .... and it was hot. All young people are quite inexperienced and the breakfast, which is good, is protected by the covid but not by flies. Even the info given by phone when booking were not precise, they had guaranteed me that the entry into the water was comfortable .... but it is not at all ... far from it. The hotel is located in a totally unpaved area and has no parking while the beach service (paid separately) is located on a small cliff with difficult access to the water. The body of water in front of the entrance has a very low seabed, like a swamp ..... There is certainly better in the area, both as a hotel and above all as a beach. All in all it is not worth the 4 stars and not even the price paid ...... not to go back. Given the inefficiencies, the advance payment is explained.

We stayed at this property for six days in July 2021, half board. We can say that the location is excellent, almost all of the staff is friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the premises is good, nothing to say about breakfast, the menu allows you to choose between a land dish and a sea one, they do not have the paper of wines. Unfortunately some things make us say that we will never return to this hotel. The welcome is very bad, the staff was only in a hurry to have the balance of the stay even before showing us the room. The superior seafront room is large, a shame about some minor maintenance that is not done, but the serious thing is that you cannot sleep due to the noises that come from the restaurant open until late at night, moreover almost every night towards at 3:00 a tanker arrived to empty a pit and this operation lasted about half an hour (perhaps there are no public sewers), then around 4: 30/5 in the morning the staff started to arrange the tables and therefore it was impossible to sleep. Other bad things, there is no parking and the room lacks mosquito nets.
