Wonderful hotel, outstanding service. Extremely attentive staff – as soon as a few drops of rain fell, an employee immediately appeared at the pool with umbrellas. The guest is truly at the center of everything. The owner has a great eye for detail and is personally present. There are not many hotel experiences on this level.

The most enjoyable part of our trip South was our time at Trapana. Morning coffee in the main house with Rosie keeping me company was priceless. Elegantly crafted , attention to details & the laid back vibe made for a memorable visit. We cannot wait to return. Thank you Rob & Gabrielle for everything. 💕

This is best hotel I have ever stayed in. The restoration of the building, the design and attention to detail and the gardens are exceptional. You never want to leave the grounds, even though there is much to see and do in Puglia.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Just book it, don’t bother reading the rest of the reviews- they are all good as it is unbelievably amazing.

Rob (the owner) has created heaven on earth and we got to share in it for the past couple of days. Where do I start? Upon entering Masseria Trapana you are immediately greeted by the warm and friendly staff with a refreshment drink. We met Rob straight away (and Rosie one of the beautiful & friendly resident cats). Rob and Rosie took us on a tour of the masseria whilst our room was prepared. The entire tour my partner and I kept turning to one another and both our jaws were on the floor. The architecture and design of the masseria was absolutely gorgeous. The food was some of the best we’ve had so far on our Italian trip, the best in Puglia and the service was second to none. The detail that has gone into Masseria Trapana is beyond impressive, everything is smooth, well thought out from the service to the finishes.

We were devastated to leave Masseria Trapana which truly felt like our home in Italy. We cannot wait to return and will be sending all of our family and friends in the meantime. Thank you Rob and the team!

This is one of the most stunning and special places I’ve had the pleasure to stay at in Puglia. It was a dream. The entire structure, the grounds, the room and decor all over were exceptional. The room was spacious and had all amenities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The pool area is beautiful and the underground cave pool is so relaxing! There’s lots of beautiful fruit trees and nature around.
It’s apparent that a lot of hard work and love went into restoration to make it what it is. Everything is done so well and feels like there’s a touch of modern with rustic, getting a sense of going back to a different time. Even the music that was playing around the grounds was a great touch.
Rob, Nabil, Gabriele and all the rest of the staff are superb, making the place warm and inviting. They embody the true essence of hospitality by taking the time to have conversations with guests, to bringing guests together with a rooftop sunset and a pizza party which we really appreciated. Having stayed in many different hotels around the world this is something that’s difficult to find.
We loved our stay and wished we could have been there longer, but cannot wait to return!

This place is just very special! Perfect food, awesome people working here, everything is super clean, wonderful rooms, chilled ambiance, typical Italien style in a modern high level way, all just perfection. It gives you peace inside the soul and it‘s called masseria trapana. Thank you to the owner of this place and all the employees. We will definitely see us again.

Probably the best hotel I have ever been to. It is simply incredible. The rooms are awesome, the pool is really nice, and some little details that I will let you discover by yourself are mind-blowing. Add this to the fact you are 10 mins away from the beautiful Lecce, and you got the perfect hotel. Loved it.
