Fattoria Manostalla in Balestrate

Gorgeous location, great food, loved the animals. My only quibble was the lack of wifi due to the location of the hotel. Connection was ok in the main building but we had no service in our room. This is not unusual for the area as it is out in the country and not in the city.

Everything was perfect. We should have stayed much longer! The home made food was delicious; and soooo much food for the price! The pool is clean and relaxing.

My mother and I stayed here during our visit to Sicily for 5 days. It was in a farm and it was super relaxing! It has a pool, animals, and a large area for kids to run around. On varying days throughout the week (not every day) the restaurant is open and they freshly prepare and cook the most delicious traditional Sicilian cuisine, which is really good value for money. In the mornings, you also have a lovely breakfast including, pastries, fruit, yoghurt etc. Not to mention that the customer service here is in another level. Allessandro & his son Stefano were the most helpful ever! Thank you to both of you for making our trip so special ＜3

Truly exceptional place we arrived on Saturday morning spending most of the time in the pool surrounded by greenery and absolute tranquility Describing lunch and dinner we only looked for space in the stomach because you never stop eating delicious and always different things, the rooms are crazy, bright and spacious and nothing is missing, excellent cleaning! From today we wait for next summer just to come back here! A compliment to the staff and owners for the absolute and continuous availability to every single request of ours.. Fabulous place in the Balestrate countryside, unique for its historical past. Close to the sea with beautiful clean beaches, free and serviced. The owners are helpful and friendly, the staff kind. Clean and tidy even in the rooms. The swimming pool is also beautiful, bordered by palm trees and carob trees under which to retreat to the shade when the sun is high. Abundant and excellent quality food, almost all at km 00, including bread cooked in a wood oven and handmade pasta. Holidays as for over thirty years unforgettable for an excellent quality/price ratio!

We spent 15 days with the family (3 generations) in this beautiful and historic baglio immersed in the vast countryside with entirely organic cultivation and we had a great time. In reality we had already been there a few times, 5, 10 and about 30 years ago ... Each time it is a bit like coming home and we are happy to have returned. The management is familiar, well-kept and friendly, and the staff is also pleasant and helpful. The food is very good, abundant, fresh, genuine and prepared with their products (the fresh ricotta is divine); the bread is homemade in their wood oven; for breakfast there are, among other things, eggs from their chickens and delicious cakes, and dinner is always a delicious surprise with various appetizers, first course, second course and dessert. Even the wines they produce are excellent. , Marsala e San Vito Lo Capo. Excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, welcoming and simple - as befits a country house; they all have air conditioning and a large terrace with a view of the surrounding valley down to the sea. Being in the countryside, you need a car (we rented one from Jumbo Viaggi in Balestrate and they offered us a transfer to and from the airport - we also recommend this). The place, which has a large free car park, is an excellent starting point for various interesting excursions and noteworthy visits both towards Palermo and towards Marsala and San Vito Lo Capo - we thank the owner for the good advice! Also worth seeing are their beautiful animals: cows, horses, a donkey, chickens and turkeys. And then they have a big, affectionate and good Corso dog. In short, we had a beautiful and relaxing holiday, we were enthusiastic and we recommend this agriturismo with all our heart. We hope to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Fattoria Manostalla a lot.
At our arrival which was a bit late in the evening we were warmly welcomed by Lucy and of course big Kaiser (the farms dog).
Every morning we enjoyed a magnificent breakfast with delicious local cheese, meat, juices, eggs, freshly baked cakes and much more.

The staff (especially Lucy) and also the owner were really kind to us and always made time for talk.
Our son loved the "farm" animals, in particular the kittens & Kaiser.
In spring/early summer the farms trees are mesmerizing, amazing flowering bougainville and other plants all around the place.
The swimmingpool we liked a lot, it's big, suitable for kids, well maintained and comfortable chairs ( umbrellas).
We can recommend this hotel to everybody who likes a natural, rural & authentic accomodation at which you can unwind and enjoy the Sicilian way of life.
