We stayed at this hotel for a week in June and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the location is certainly one of the highlights.

However, there are a few aspects that we feel could be improved, especially considering the hotel presents itself as a five-star establishment:

-The property would benefit from some renovation. The breakfast area, located on the lower ground floor, feels quite enclosed and lacks natural light, which can make the atmosphere feel a bit gloomy.
-Charging for Nespresso capsules(!!!) in the room was unexpected and felt out of place for a five-star hotel. This detail was not clearly communicated beforehand and only discovered at checkout, which was disappointing.
-Complimentary bottled water was only provided upon arrival. We believe a bottle per guest should be included daily, as is standard in many luxury hotels.
-The gym area was not air-conditioned, despite outside temperatures exceeding 30°C. This made it quite uncomfortable to use and could be improved for guest comfort.
-While the location is excellent, we were surprised that there was no open-air dining option with a pleasant view. Dinner was served in the same area as breakfast, which lacked ambiance and did not match the expectations for a five-star dining experience.
We hope these comments are taken as constructive feedback, as the hotel has great potential and we truly appreciated the hospitality of the staff.

Had the most fantastic time! The staff at the pool bar and evening bar are fantastic. Thanks to Daniele, Bahiano, Guiseppi and Nico (reception). Spectacular location, good breakfast! Would recommend. Amazing fish restauraunt just around the corner if not half board.

Disappointing experience – the room was uncomfortable with a musty smell until we requested a deep clean and refresh. The bed setup, from the mattress to the pillows and cover, was unsatisfactory. The toilet was also too small. The location was perfect.

Wonderful location. The sea is amazing, very clean. Private Sunbeds and umbrella only for hotel clients reserved. The only thing that can be criticised are the rooms, and specially the toilet it's a bit small. Highlight is the food. I've booked a half board and the dinner menu it's amazing. Very fresh and precious Ingredients. It's like eating dinner every night at a Michelin star restaurant. The staff is very polite and friendly. Overall experience over the top.

I don’t think the negative reviews I read before we went are warranted. The hotel location is amazing and everything is very clean. We didn’t use the spa or gym but they looked fine. The pools are great and the private beach area is beautiful.

We had breakfast every day in the hotel, which was a large buffet style plus eggs cooked on request. Staff are welcoming.

We ate out at local restaurants every night bar one. There are restaurants within 20 mins walk. The one night we ate in the hotel we were disappointed. The service was slower, you have to sit inside and I didn’t rate the food quality compared to local restaurants.

The pool bar is good and drinks come with nibbles. You can have your drinks brought to your loungers.

The shuttle bus to SMG is very handy (having paid €35 for a one way taxi for the same journey). First one leaves at 10am and last one back is 7pm (with others between).

Overall we’d definitely go back.

This is sold as a 5 star hotel and you pay for a 5 star, however, the quality of the facilities and services barely qualifies for a 3 star.
- Noisy AC / during heat peaking days it does not work
- Beds not comforatable at all / your body will ache
- Breakfast is fad / no variety / almost tasteless / it would be good for management to taste this brakefast before it is served.
- Food at the pool bar is the quality of a service station / not a 5 star hotel.
- There is not much around, so all you are left with a few expensive options and not worth the price they charge.
- The staff try to be friendly and help you, but there is so much they can do. They changed the rooms (because shower was either super hot or cold and noisy AC) but the AC issue was still there.
- Beach is great, worth the view, as well as the swiming pool
- Massage service is not bad / could be better.
What was supposed to be a awesome 5 star restful week, turned out to be the very opposite. Quite dissapointed overall

Nice location, nice view, fast check-in, phone is not working, slippers missing. Considering the high number of Colonna hotels in the island, one expects a very good service for the sake of their name but not. The hotel customers suffer from many service defects. Almost all hotel staff looks unhappy, hard to communicate with them. We wanted to cancel our last 3 days and it is our right according to cancellation policy; the staff called "Massimo" shall inform us about our request since 24 hours! They do not try to satisfy customer requirements. If you have high level expectations from a hotel where you pay high amount of money, this is not the right place.

My stay here was amazing ! The pools and views it gives are just breathtaking !
We had a nice room with vintage decorations. There were many options for breakfast.
The private beach and pools were the best part, It was not crowded at all, so I got to enjoy it even more.
I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Sardegna !
