Wonderful place to stay. Cozy, boutique style hotel with small but magical garden, privatelly owned and managed. Rooms have been renovated, to the latest standards. Our room had nice walk-in wardrobe, medium to large bathroom and kingsize bed plus small balcony with a pool and sea view. We took the fullboard and it’s worth to upgrade. The food is delicious, almost gourmet style and servings are more then enought. Location is perfect, hotel is almost at the beach, walk to the town center takes about 10 minutes. Hotel has own beach and a beach bar. The beach is one of the must to see beaches on the island. Only one thing is missing there, the restroom, but if in need You can always go to the hotel. Coctails are tasty and made how they supposed to be made, both in the lobby bar and in the beach bar. Pool is small, but who needs the pool when You have a warm crystal clear sea? If You like to snorkle or spearfish, there’s a nice spot just in front of the hotel beach, not that far of the shore, spot is marked with the buoy.
Fantastic stay, in fantastic place. What else to say? We’re coming back, for sure.

Updating review after staying.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour by all staff, comparing with all my previous travels both business and for holidays - this was the worst experience.
First they don’t have water for half a day and act like it’s all normal.
Then after complaining about their mediocre breakfast the guy named Giovanni harassed me and my friend during next day and bullied us about review.
He wanted to harass us further on the last day and when I asked his name - covered it up and pretended his name is Antonio.
Throughout the whole stay staff acted as we are here for free or something like we don’t deserve to stay at their precious hotel, obviously misogynistic, rude and snobbish.
If you are not 100 year old German tourists you will be treated like you are nothing.
Avoid this snobbish place at all cost.

Our stay in Villasimius was unforgettable—the hotel combined spacious, comfortable rooms and excellent service with an unbeatable location right on the water, offering stunning sea views while still being just a short walk from the charming town center and its shops.

This is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, right on the beach. All the staff are amazing. Giovanni, Eduardo, Antonino, Genny, Reuben, to name a few made our stay so pleasurable. We can’t wait to go back next year. David and Julie.

Overall I would rate this property a 3 stars, the beach and the breakfast was lovely but all the hidden fees were what brought this down for me. Nowhere on ******* does it say you have to pay for the cabanas on the beach, or for extra towels, everything in the mini bar (although this one is hit or miss, a lot of the 4 star places I stay in usually have the first round free and then anything extra is added one). Our first day at the beach the lifeguard actually said to not worry about the fee and pay for it next time, turns out he added it to the bill anyways which we had to pay at the end of the stay. The hotel itself is outdated and in need of a refresh.
Overall majority of the staff were nice, one or two were rude but we brushed that off due to the language barrier.
During my time in Sardinia I also stayed in another 4 star hotel and felt so welcomed there and it also had top tier facilities, which may also contribute to me giving this a 3 star…
