Hostellerie du Cheval Blanc in Aosta

I do not understand the negative reviews for this hotel. First, service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and helpful - I especially appreciated the kindness of the older woman with the glasses. The hotel is beautiful and impactful on entry. The location is a straight road to the old city and very convenient. Rooms were cleaned to perfection and everything was as we needed, especially as a family of four. I loved the frankincense smell in the rooms. The pool was heated and fantastic! My only complaint is that I've never been asked to wear a swim cap in a four star hotel before - thankfully, they provide them if you do not have. Be sure to ask for a robe on arrival, too. Breakfast was delicious and worth the 10€ a day, without question. WiFi worked well, and the "hotel dogs" wandering around were the best! I loved our stay and would recommend this hotel, with my eyes closed. Grazie mille x

Very friendly service! Such a warm welcome for me and my dog. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Good breakfast.

Sound proof doors. Bed was comfortable but on floor. Restaurant was awesome (duck ala orange).

Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews: It’s a fine hotel. Nice staff, good service, and the restaurant food is quite decent. It’s just in a small town and as always in Europe in a dates building. They’re doing the best they can

Beautiful hotel, close to the center of Aosta. With beautiful outdoor and indoor pools. Great bar and restaurant inside. Excellent rooms, very modern and clean. I would love to bring this place back!!

We stayed at this hotel on our arranged holiday with interski. The friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us and our children from the minute we arrived. Great food with a varied selection for breakfast enjoyed by all and and a wonderful choice of menus for the evening meal with an authentic Italian choice too. The rooms were fantastic and very clean with daily maid service from the friendly team. The bar service with a smile too offering a lovely selection of drinks and snacks. The staff are fantastic and always willing to help and have a joke with the children. This place is very special and we will be back. What a great team!

We stayed here on the way back to Geneva Airport. The staff were amazing, especially the waiter and manager. Made the place and the stay extra special. Plus, beautiful and calm dogs to help welcome us. Also lovely touches, such as a coffee early in the morning to send us on our way. Thankyou!!!
