Maison Borbey in Aosta

Extremely neglected room, absurd en-suite bathroom, sink at the foot of the bed, shower and toilet in a "room 1m by 80cm. Very good cleaning.

I could write endlessly, but I'll try to limit myself.
The place was difficult to find because the coordinates provided on the reservation sheet were incorrect, resulting in us ending up on a dirt road in the middle of the mountains. I called the property asking for the exact address, and the owner replied that she was in the kitchen. She hung up, but I only had time to tell her that I'd have lunch first, given the time. We arrived at the property and were greeted rudely. We would have left immediately. Unfortunately, she had our credit card number, so we were forced to stay. Furthermore, we were asked to pay immediately in cash because we didn't have a debit card. We went to our room, which was ordinary, but the bathroom wasn't very clean. There were no face towels, no toiletries, no hair dryer, and the sink drained poorly. Washing my face was a real hassle, and the shower drain was equally as bad; you had to be careful otherwise the water would overflow. Both in the afternoon and late at night, it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep, despite my tiredness. We asked to speak to the owner several times, but she was never available. In the afternoons, she was always in the bathroom washing her hair, according to the staff. Breakfast was nonexistent, and I paid for it. We also had dinner; we ordered veal fillet, and they served us round, pretending it was. I had to insist like crazy to get a receipt; I was given it the night before my departure; she basically gave me a delivery note instead.
I called the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police) and they told me that B&Bs in the Aosta Valley don't issue receipts because they claim to work occasionally.
How is this possible if she works with Booking.com?
The fact is, I won't book a B&B again, but a hotel, since we all have to pay taxes.
Terrible value for money.
I absolutely do not recommend.
