Masseria Berzario in Melendugno

Masseria Berzario is a beautiful gem in southern Puglia to relax, calm down and enjoy the nice estate. The masseria is surrounded by olive trees and consists of a clean beautiful pool area, a nice seating/breakfast area and indoor seating for rainy days. Because of the less rooms, it is all the time quiet and peaceful. Everything is clean and beautifully gardened.
The rooms are well designed with a mix of luxury and puglian countryside interior. Everything is clean from the bed to the bathroom.
The breakfast is simple but with high quality local products with jam, fruit and oil from the owner and pastries from a pasticceria from the next village. Thank you Lea for staying with you!

Checked in at noon, greeted with coffee by friendly host. Stayed at the separate small house, beautifully decorated with private yard in the center of an Olive grove.

Masseria Berzario was my first stop on a tour of Puglia and if I hadn't already planned the rest of the trip I would have stayed there forever. I had the most magical experience there, from the beautiful grounds to the incredible breakfasts and, of course, the wonderful manager Lea who took extra special care of me after I had a car accident. I rented the studio home on the property which is a short drive down the road from the main building and is an absolute paradise. Tucked away in an olive tree orchard you feel like you are truly by yourself in an ancient haven. Everything is beautiful and comfortable and the perfect mix of modern comforts and classic Puglian style. To add to the dream, when I arrived the kitchen was stocked with a beautiful bowl of vegetables and herbs from their garden, as well as the olive oil they make on the grounds. I truly cannot wait to return to this magical property as soon as possible and will dream about it until then. Thank you thank you thank you for a beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful time in masseria berzario. The masseria itself is very beautiful, clean and calm. It’s a great place to relax and feel home. The owner were extremely friendly and careful and the breakfast was yummy. We will definitely come back and can recommend it to everyone!
