We spent an amazing fortnight at Orto Paradiso. The property is in a stunning location on the hillside above Minori, a lovely little town on the Amalfi coast, which has everything you need without the crowds of the big names nearby.
The people running the hotel are friendly and helpful, and the place feels very quiet and chilled, with beautiful views.
The breakfasts are delicious, and the pool is the perfect size for a refreshing dip.
We stayed in the superior quadruple which had enough space inside for a double bed, two single beds, a very handy kitchenette and bathroom.
The airconditionning in the room works very well, but we spent most of our time out on the lovely large terrace outside the room which has two seating areas and fantastic views.
The steps up to the property do require some effort, but are more than worth it for the incredible location. We walked to and from the seafront in Minori at least once a day, and managed fine, (taking 10-20 mins depending on whether we were going up or down), but there is a public bus which will take you just over half way (as close as you can get by road), if you prefer.
Do take mosquito repellant - the rooms are surrounded by beautiful vegetation, and tmozzies like it too!

Our trip could not have been better! The staff, quiet location and view made this truly memorable for the whole family! We would recommend orto paradiso to anyone who is mobile!

The steps are no joke! But the view and tranquility make it worthwhile. Rasmus, Lorena and Ilaria are excellent hosts. Rasmus helped with our bags when we arrived and gave us recommendations of where to eat in the town and a tour of the B&B. You can make the steps easier by walking up the road and then only doing the last ~150 steps to the B&B. Otherwise we counted 477 steps from beach to front door. However we were comfortable doing these 1/2 times a day and the amazing view made it worthwhile. Breakfast is continental/italian and really good. The coffee and homemade lemonade every morning were amazing. The room was clean and we also had a small kitchenette which was useful. Would certainly return!

The location albeit after a climbing up a substantial amount of steps was blissful, the views were wonderful, the team were a delight, they were helpful and insightful. this is a family fun hotel and has been in the family for generations, I believe that this makes the hotel more of a personable experience. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.
The location, in my opinion was one of the best on the Amalfi coats, if you want to experience 'real' Italian' life then make sure you stay in this location. I prefer a location with minimal tourists which this was, however still in a great location to be able to get around the Amalfi coast buy boat/ferry or car.
I will definitely be returning here in the near future!

Wonderful stay
Wonderful stay with spectacular views! Fabio and his team were great. We had a small room issue when we arrived which Fabio sorted out straight away with no fuss. Rooms were comfortable with views directly over the coastline and the pool was just the thing to cool off on the hot summers day. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and fresh with excellent coffee. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here on your Amalfi coast trip.

We spent 4 amazing days at the Orto Paradiso. The location is wonderful with stunning views, peaceful and friendly atmosphere and the staff extremly friendly and helpful. Loved the nights at our terrasse and can't wait to go back. Best ever

Are you KIDDING! To have such an amazing view during a complementary breakfast was a blessing. My boyfriend and I stayed at Orto Paradiso for 4 nights, and when we first arrived we were met with great hospitality and a cup of their freshly made lemonade. We did a lot of research on where to stay on the Amalfi coast and once we chose our location we knew that this was the perfect stay! We came across their website which gave us a sense of professionalism and comfort. When we arrived?? It was better than imagined! There are definitely a good amount of stairs but once you get to your paradise it feels rewarding. It also made our trip up to Ravello (by stairs) a little shorter 😉 the room could use a little updates but nothing that would make me not return or rate this place any lower than 5 stars. Fabio was a great host and always hard at work to accommodate his guests! It was a magical touch to our stay on the Amalfi Coast. I would highly recommend Orto Paradiso! Also- if the steps are too much from the city center, you can ease the trip and take the road to the steps by the cemetery. My boyfriend and I did this a couple times when we were further into town.

We spent five great days and nights at this amazing place. The views are amazing, and tho the stairs will give you a good workout, it is well worth it! The staff was really nice and helped us any way they could! For us Orto Paradiso offered great value for the price. We are also glad we choose to stay in Minori wich was not so crowded but still offered alot of different good restaurants and was a good place to start from, exploring the rest of the coast.

The view is spectacular. Fabio the owner was very helpful with our needs and giving us suggestions for day trips.
Tanya's breakfasts were delicious. There are only eight rooms so it is quiet and each room has wonderful views. The property is set in a lemon orchard. There were beautiful flowers and trees full of lemons outside our room. We certainly recommend this lovely place.
