Hotel Pellegrino in Praiano

I stayed at Hotel Pellegrino as a solo traveler for 4 nights in mid-October. Hotel Pellegrino is the quintessential family run hotel, not just in name, but in service. I've never experienced such personalized and caring service at a hotel! Alessia and Daniela went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay and had everything I needed. The hotel is beautifully decorated, comfortable, impeccably clean, and has glorious views. Breakfast is included and is quite the spread with pastries, eggs and pancakes cooked to order, breakfast meats, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and more. Last but not least, they offer car service to the surrounding areas for hotel guests, and I can't stress enough what a difference that made in my stay. It's not uncommon on the coast to have long wait times for buses and taxis, especially on off hours. Instead, Alessia and Daniela took me to my destinations in Positano and Praiano, and brought me back when I was ready, including for dinners every night. I was so grateful to have this service available and make the most of my time there! Also to note is that Hotel Pellegrino is accessible from the street level. Your taxi or shuttle from the airport can pull right up to the front door where the hotel staff can unload your luggage. I shared a shuttle from the airport with other travelers and all of them had to be dropped some distance from their hotel and navigate very busy roads and many stairs with their luggage to reach the entrance of their hotel. Overall I found Hotel Pellegrino to be an unparalleled choice for service, convenience, and luxury on the Amalfi Coast.

The hotel rooms and facilities are clean and good. The staff are very friendly. Although the parking area is not large, there is a private parking lot. It is close to Positano, and since the hotel provides a pickup service using a vehicle at no extra cost, I highly recommend this hotel for sightseeing in Positano.

This charming family hotel is unquestionable tops! Do not, (I repeat) DO NOT hesitate to book Hotel Pellegrino! Navigating the Amalfi Coast and its transportation options is not the easiest. Hotel Pellegrino's transportation assistance to Positano and places within Praiano, actually make it one of the easiest places to stay. The hotel is in absolutely perfect condition and incredibly clean. Gorgeous! The flowers, the patios, the upstairs dining area, and the most amazing breakfasts - all additional great reasons to stay here. Most importantly ... the family and small outside staff are ALL SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!!! They will make your vacation!!! These are all the reasons this place has been consistently receiving 5* reviews!

Cannot rave about this place enough. By far the most responsive and helpful hotel staff I have ever met, namely Alessia and Daniela. They gave us excellent advice regarding the local attractions, bus schedule, weather forecast, and anything else we needed (even ordering us pizza and delivering to the room for us when it was raining out).

Aside from the excellent service, the room itself was exceptionally clean, aesthetic, and had gorgeous views. Breakfast was superb, and they gave us complimentary rides anywhere in Praiano and Positano which was really convenient.

Highly recommend to stay here while you are in Amalfi Coast!

This place is amazing! My husband said it was the best place he has ever stayed. The breakfast is amazing, so much variety and can be different every day. The rooms are so clean and just nice and the views, you can't beat it. This is family run and they are all great! Praiano is about a 10 min walk but not bad and they also will drive you there. I would 10/10 recommend this place and go back.

An excellent place to stay in Praiano and near positano. Alessandra and Luigi and staff make you feel like a guest in their home. They are happy to make accommodations for your stay and drive you to dinner. Our stay was so peaceful and beautiful. We hope to find ourselves here again soon.

Very nice family-owned hotel with sea view terrace. The breakfast and supper were outstanding. Great location with walkable shopping and La Praia beach is a short drive. If I travel to Praiano again I will stay at this hotel. Grazie Mille!

This is a family run business and they went over the top on accommodating us. The place is beautiful! We loved staying there.

Travelling with my mother and aunt, we only stayed one night, but it has been our favourite hotel on Amalfi Coast.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning, with the bougainvillea framing the balcony outlook making it even more magical.

I wish we'd stayed at Hotel Pellegrino for longer.

The breakfast was absolutely incredible. Best coffee we'd had since our arrival in Southern Italy.

The restaurant was closed the night we were there, but the staff recommended a restaurant and booked a table for us, and then drove us down, and collected us when we were finished.

Truly the most lovely place to stay.
