Hotel Villa Maria

This August I traveled with my family from America to Italy, flying into Naples, making Ravello our very first stop. During our journey we stayed at several high-end hotels, all very very good, however none felt as comfortable as the Hotel Villa Maria in Ravello. I'm rating this hotel all 10s for the survey’s categories, however I’m rating the hotel’s staff 15+. During our Italian adventure we traveled down through Southern Italy, then across into Sicily, working our way around the island. While on this journey I made it my top priority to talk with the people of Italy at every opportunity, to enhance my (family’s) travel experience. While staying at the Villa Maria we discovered this hotel’s staff to be extra warm, authentic, friendly, and simply down to earth. I want to give a special shout out to our new friends at the Hotel Villa Maria especially Martina and Francesco, you both were so very accommodating, making Ravello and the Hotel Villa Maria a high point in our journey. In closing I’d like to say: Grazie a entrambi per la vostra gentilezza, augurando a voi e alle vostre famiglie tanto amore e felicita. Excellent hotel set in a beautiful part of Ravello. The view from the hotel and restaurant was amazing. The hotel and restaurant gave us a wonderful experience. The staff and service were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our time their.

What an amazing place! I cannot recommend it highly enough. The information and pictures online did not do this place justice. The hotel is immaculate, the area is amazing, and the staff are out of this world helpful.

We just got back from 3 days at Villa Maria. It is truly one of those places that you don't want to leave... The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, there is an amazing terrace with a breathtaking view, excellent breakfast. However, the hotel best asset is the staff, always helpful and kind - especially Selinda and the other ladies at the Reception (apologizes but we don' remember the names). Highly recommended. We hope to come back soon, grazie for eveything.

Villa Maria is a magical experience. The garden, the room, breakfast and dinner with that breathtaking view ... Unforgettable. It's a once in a lifetime experience... We fell in love with all and we can't wait to go back. Plus, the chef of the restaurant is a genius. 😊

Absolutely amazing hotel. Just very hard beds

Our family and friends stayed at Villa Maria for the wedding of our son and his fiancé at Villa Eva. The hotel accommodations were exceptional, and the staff took care of our every need. Five Star service, in every way. As an added bonus, the hotel restaurant is one of the best in Ravello.

Return to Ravello
We had been to Ravello 30 years ago and stayed at Villa Maria. Everything was top class and we enjoyed our return. We had a car which we parked at Hotel Giordano. We went to Villa Cimbrone, Capri, Pompei and Positano.
