Hotel Marco Polo in Bologna

Absolutely to be avoided... I'm giving a rating of 1 only because I can't give it a 0. One night stay for work reasons... I wouldn't call it a "Hotel". The impression from the outside is that of a motel which is confirmed once inside the small room furnished with a few rags, including the only sad bottle of natural water in the minibar for the modest sum of 1 euro. As soon as I entered the room I was overwhelmed by a strong smell of smoke mixed with an equally bad musty smell, despite the smoking ban in the rooms. Unattended reception. View on a noisy street, but even noisier are the music, shouts and shouts coming from the bar below. Until late at night, drunken customers and shouting managers are unaware that it is a place where those who stay pay with the sacrosanct right to rest instead of putting up with those who literally disturb the public peace. Despite the call to the manager to shut down the nightclub below, the music and shouting did not stop. Not to mention the methods of paying the tourist tax... I don't recommend it and I will never go back.
