Hotel Camay in Cesenatico

After two very satisfied stays at the Hotel Camay (booked through a travel agency), we unfortunately discovered this year (2025) that the hotel owners did not feel bound by the included services described in the travel agency's documents and attempted to charge us additional fees without justification. Our primary concern was a bicycle rental fee, which was described in the documents as "included in the price." We raised this issue on-site, but without much understanding from the hotel staff, especially the owner's father.

Furthermore, we found that the hotel's private bathroom was unavailable this year, there was a charge for using the air conditioning, and parking on the hotel grounds was subject to a fee. Last but not least, the rooftop whirlpool, which we remembered from 2023, was not available during our stay this year (the hotel does not have a pool). These reductions in services were not particularly significant for us at Easter 2025.


Furthermore, we discovered that the hotel's private bathroom was unavailable this year, that there was a charge for using the air conditioning, and that parking on the hotel grounds was also subject to a fee. We believe that a hotel must offer the services listed as "included" in the accommodation descriptions free of charge and recommend that travelers pay attention to this.
