They approved the booking couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately when we showed up last night they had overbooked hotel rooms.
They didn’t have any alternative rooms or hotel they could put us in.
The guy in the reception did his best, but did not speak English.
Very chaotic experience, that I didn’t think was possible. I haven’t received any apologies or messages from the hotel, just that they cancelled my booking at 3 AM in the morning.
Normally I don’t do reviews, but in this case I think it’s necessary for other customers to see, especially considering if you’re travelling with smaller kids, that you could end up in same situation as we did.
We were indirectly told to sleep on the streets of Rimini, and then we could look at solutions next morning.
I hope no one’s has to experience this with this hotel, and I’m sorry I have to leave such review.
We also received a free room upgrade and the staff were very accomodating with check in / check out.
I have stayed at this hotel twice and will definitely stay here again if I return to Rimini.
Federico and Angela are great hosts who will welcome you with a smile on their face and advise you on everything you need to know. You will always find someone at the reception to give you advice. The service at the hotel was second to none, they took care of the cleanliness every day.
San Guliano beach, which is a 4-minute walk away, is a great place to relax. At the time of our stay it was more or less empty, clean and with a minimum of distractions.
