Wonderful stay in an old medieval city. Quiet with olive trees surrounding the city walls.
Parking was easy at the large lot just outside the walls. Breakfast was varied and filling.

Walk to Albergo and buy some bread, meat and cheese at the local shop. Drive to old castles. Just a serene experience in the countryside.

Me & my wife had a great stay here. The place was super nice, room was spacious and clean. Check in and check out was smooth. There's parking available just 3 min walking distance. The price made it a bargain. Definitely recommend it.

Only thing was that I couldn't get the thermostat to work somehow, even though I followed the instructions. But we used fresh air from the windows instead :)

We were driving from Belarus towards Rome and we booked a place there by accident. Yes, the location is such that you can't get there without a car. But the place is so cool that it's hard to describe. Firstly, you live almost in a castle, the room is in excellent repair, there is air conditioning, a kettle, water, there are even some treats in the room and there is even a fireplace with candles (there were some drawbacks, but they were not significant at all). It's really hard to meet a living person around, but that's more of a plus than a minus. There is a functioning cathedral, at 5 p.m. there was even a service there, the bell rang every hour. There is a place to walk in silence, there are olive groves all around the castle. Standard continental breakfast, some fruit. I really liked the place, I give it 11 out of 10, all the disadvantages that may have been there pale in comparison to its advantages, especially for that price. If I had the opportunity, I would probably spend my vacation there.

4.5 stars.
Contemporary, clean and peaceful, this beautifully renovated B&B in the tiny hamlet of Oliveto is run with style and real attention to detail.
The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and breakfast is a simple but fresh buffet of fruit, cereal and pastries.
There's a friendly bar and basic pizzeria 15min stroll down the hill in Albergo and a good selection of restaurants within 15min drive, including the excellent Il Vicolo in Civitella.
The aim here is relaxation, so aside from hillside hikes or bike rides there's not a lot to do, but Florence, Siena, Montepulciano and Cortona are all about an hour's drive in various directions and the owners will happily provide travel advice and maps.
The only drawback here is the lack of outdoor communal space. After a long day taking in the sights of Florence or Cortona it would be fantastic to sit in a garden or on a terrace in the evening sunshine and reflect on the day.

Beautifully restored rooms in an ancient house in a tiny, tranquil hamlet near Arrezo. Genuine warm Italian hospitality meets simple, chic decor and design.

This was the place to be for a relaxing short break in Tuscany. We stayed for two nights in this little borgo ( medieval village), surrounded by a few houses and a church. The place is in the middle of nowhere, just like we wanted! The room was modern and had all we needed. I booked a Luxury Room, Balcony, Courtyard View. The balcony was just outside the bedroom and had a lovely view. The ensuite bathroom was a good size, toiletries and towels. The rooms were clean and welcoming. Breakfast was available every morning and there were some home made cookies & cake, fruit juices, yogurts, water bottles and so on. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone that wants a relaxing holiday and is happy to stay in a tranquil place.

We absolutely loved the apartment with the tiny balcony on the roof. The check in was easy, the room very clean, they even give you cofFee, tea , cold water and sweets. Only it's a pity that you need to check out at 10- it would be nice to sit on the balcony for longer. Hit then you can go and relax in the peaceful olive garden. Fantastic place for relax!!!!

Lovely place to go for peaceful, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The staff have always been kind and helpful, assisting with any query you may have. The rooms are well thought out, with a beautiful view always from the balcony. Though a private and secluded place, if needed there is a town only a few miles away.
It comes highly recommended.
