The hotel is best located directly at the beach - but beach service is not included in the hotel price. The pool is indoor with open fronts to the beach side. While the exterior looks very nice, the entire hotel, especially the rooms, doesn't seem to be 4-star quality: the bathroom has a rather damaged door that conflicts with the sink, very old fixtures, and rather dated bathroom fixtures, especially the shower. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It's just not 4 star. I can't even say it's 3 star. It's at best 2.5 star.. The staff were friendly, the amenities were terrible. I had to sleep with my door open because the AC did not function (I don't think it was broken, I think it was considered too cold to have it functioning) and the room got too hot. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and some nice restaurants. However, I was on the 5th floor which required carrying luggage up an extra flight from the first floor and wifi could not reach the room. You could also hear partying from across the street in the room. Other than that the air conditioning was good and the room was clean so a pretty good stay if you aren't too picky.
