It was an amazing stay. We had half board it was well worth it. Excellent food at restaurant. Breakfast could have more selection but what they provided was good. I would highly recommend for families.

Hidden Gem Positioned one row of houses behind the beach, the beach is only a 2 min walk away. Has a spectacular pool approx. 20m x 10m. and smaller children's pool. It's an older building, which can be seen externally; internally, it has clean classical decor.

Everything is excellent in this hotel. Especially the view on Tyrrhenian sea through green crowns of piny and equidistant to Rome and Napoli. All flaws could be forgiven.

Outside pool area, and close to a major supermarket across a busy road ( be careful of traffic) if you need any supplies. Short walk down a track to the beach. I am now a regular customer of this structure, the location is its strong point, directly on the sea. I love the solarium terrace with the hydromassage tubs, when the sun goes down with its panorama it becomes one of the most exciting and impactful environments I have ever seen in a seaside hotel. Nice and neat hotel for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed at the hotel 1 day before they were closing for the winter season. The weather was beautiful. We had the whole hotel to ourselves and the service we experienced was fantastic. The nearby restaurants are better than the hotel kitchen, but cant complain at all. Excellent part of Italy and less crowded than further down the coast.

You are a little out of the way from any stores or a pharmacy. About 2kms. But it made for a quiet stay with nothing but the waves as background sound.

So much potential, so little effort.. The architecture of the hotel is unique, the pool and the views are very good. The cleaning every day was also perfect. But the building isn’t maintained well, the minibar in the triple room was too loud and especially the reception staff seemed unorganised. It’s a pity!

Room was plain and basic. Nothing romantic or beautiful about it. Location was right on the beach with a pool. 20 minute walk into the historical center. Easy walk or bike. A wonderful sleepy hotel hidden on the side of the mountain. It was slow while we were there (late September). It felt very intimate & private. The aesthetics of the place are top notch. This was an absolutely lovely hotel with great staff. There was an issue with our beds upon arrival and we were upgraded to a larger suite with no hassle. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms have amazing views. The on-site breakfast was also of high quality. Highly recommended. Le Rocce is a hidden gem! The views are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that panorama feels like a dream. The hotel is modern and the staff are very accommodating. It’s also right next to the beach. If you are going out of season be aware lots of things are closed, especially the restaurants. They only open two days a week out of season. Don’t let this put you off though. It’s a beautiful location. We used it as a stop of between Napoli and Rome.

Former convent converted into boutique hotel offers waterfront location near downtown area and ferry port. We stayed in annex, which offered very clean simple rooms with modern amenities. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Lovely location which we visited in “off season” - summer months would probably be a very different and much more hectic experience.

The breakfast was out-of-the-box and local pastries. The coffee was good. The dining room is lovely with a fine view of the sea, but we were there at the end of the season and I think they could not keep a chef available for all meals. The grounds, parking and access to the beach were outstanding. A classic early 20th century Victorian hotel.

Our second stay at Miramare Formia The hotel is located on the beach with breathtaking views from our balcony. Our breakfast was included which was delicious and an abundance. We were greeted each morning with heartwarming staff like Pepe and Flamigna who went over and above to serve us and included warm conversations. Silvio also deserves recognition for his work.

We stayed here about 30 years ago and enjoyed it. No change this time !!!! Room was classic (not modern). Beds a little firm. Balcony view was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful and staff very pleasant. Does have a lift so that was very helpful with our luggage. Overall a great stay and value.
