We stayed here last year August 20- Sept10 and it was amazing. The staff from the front desk, cleaning and service were great and always available. The breakfast had a great selection and the food on the property was great. My daughter and her friend came a week later and the only negative that they had was the distance to the town center. It was an amazing stay. We had half board it was well worth it. Excellent food at restaurant. Breakfast could have more selection but what they provided was good. I would highly recommend for families.

Hidden Gem Positioned one row of houses behind the beach, the beach is only a 2 min walk away. Has a spectacular pool approx. 20m x 10m. and smaller children's pool. It's an older building, which can be seen externally; internally, it has clean classical decor.

Everything is excellent in this hotel. Especially the view on Tyrrhenian sea through green crowns of piny and equidistant to Rome and Napoli. All flaws could be forgiven.

Hotel is clean overall and personel was kind and helpful. Nevertheless Wi-Fi speed and connection is really bad, and there is only a thin curtain instead of glass in shower in bathroom. Good hotel, basic but acceptable, clean rooms and friendly staff who were helpful. Outside pool area, and close to a major supermarket across a busy road ( be careful of traffic) if you need any supplies. Short walk down a track to the beach. Can walk to the seafront in Terracine in about 10 - 15 mins. Food good in hotel and breakfast is continental style.

Amazing experience. Great for families. The staff went above and beyond and was so incredibly thoughtful in doing special nice things for our two kids. Especially Claudia. The breakfast was also a highlight. Great pool, great beach. And there is a mini-playground. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the hotel 1 day before they were closing for the winter season. The weather was beautiful. We had the whole hotel to ourselves and the service we experienced was fantastic. The nearby restaurants are better than the hotel kitchen, but cant complain at all. Excellent part of Italy and less crowded than further down the coast.

You are a little out of the way from any stores or a pharmacy. About 2kms. But it made for a quiet stay with nothing but the waves as background sound.

So much potential, so little effort.. The architecture of the hotel is unique, the pool and the views are very good. The cleaning every day was also perfect. But the building isn’t maintained well, the minibar in the triple room was too loud and especially the reception staff seemed unorganised. It’s a pity!

When I had originally read the reviews for this hotel I was nervous that I had chosen badly but, to my very pleasant surprise, this hotel is a hidden gem! It’s incredibly located, right on the beach where you experience a beautiful sunset every night. The lifeguards, including Filippo, are so friendly and super helpful, always with a smile. The hotel staff was very polite as usual (we have stayed in this hotel several times in the past). However the facility could benefit from an upgrade on the rooms, finishes and furnishings. The beach and the location are fantastic. The life guard, Filippo, deserves special credit for his high professional and capable performance of his work. We will probably return to this hotel.

They let us check in early and helped us get a 2 hour taxi when the trains went on strike. Everyone was great. Dinner starts later so be prepared for most restaurants to open at 8 pm

Highly recommend this hotel. The central location made it super easy to walk into town. We had chairs rented at a separate beach club through family so we didn't use the hotel beach but I'm sure it was great. The pool is beautiful and quiet and the rooms were clean and well appointed.

Location is near the beach and restaurants, hotel in general is clean except breakfast wasn’t well organised. Breakfast ends at 10am but by 9:30pm when the tiny buffet is empty they don’t replenish. A wonderful sleepy hotel hidden on the side of the mountain. It was slow while we were there (late September). It felt very intimate & private. The aesthetics of the place are top notch. This hotel is in the most amazing location with a stunning beach. We booked a seafront room with terrace. Whilst the room was a little bit outdated, the bathroom and interior decoration was quite old-fashioned - the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and had a good aircon. The hotel is modern and the staff are very accommodating. It’s also right next to the beach. If you are going out of season be aware lots of things are closed, especially the restaurants. They only open two days a week out of season. Don’t let this put you off though. It’s a beautiful location. We used it as a stop of between Napoli and Rome.

Former convent converted into boutique hotel offers waterfront location near downtown area and ferry port. We stayed in annex, which offered very clean simple rooms with modern amenities. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Lovely location which we visited in “off season” - summer months would probably be a very different and much more hectic experience.

The breakfast was out-of-the-box and local pastries. The coffee was good. The dining room is lovely with a fine view of the sea, but we were there at the end of the season and I think they could not keep a chef available for all meals. The grounds, parking and access to the beach were outstanding. A classic early 20th century Victorian hotel.

Our second stay at Miramare Formia The hotel is located on the beach with breathtaking views from our balcony. Our breakfast was included which was delicious and an abundance. We were greeted each morning with heartwarming staff like Pepe and Flamigna who went over and above to serve us and included warm conversations. Silvio also deserves recognition for his work.
