It was good value for money and id ally placed . The host was welcoming and I slept like a dream . Very good value for money

We stayed over the long weekend in early November but we can only leave an extremely negative review. The stay was initially supposed to be for 2 nights but on the morning of the first night we packed our bags. Hygiene was very, very poor. We stayed in the room with an external bathroom. The room was small with a sink in the room (perhaps it was a room intended as a single but turned into a double). The beds didn't even have a bedside table to put your things on, forcing us to throw things on the floor. The bed was very hard but this is rather subjective. The TV was included as an optional in the room but we refused to touch the remote controls which had a layer of grease, dirt and dust accumulated for who knows how many years (I attach a photo). The bathroom was in terrible conditions, with a strong smell of sewer. In itself the conditions cannot be considered adequate in respect of the customer who pays. We therefore found a bar of soap used by the previous customer in the shower and even a used razor blade inside the sink cabinet. TRULY SPEECHLESS. Obviously reported to the owner but only received a response "sorry I'll walk you to the door". NEVER AGAIN.

We really enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the staff here. It was the height of mosquito season and try provided a couple things to make the room more comfortable. Would definitely recommend it! Parking is across the street in a lot, very convenient.

Very engaging patron and manager, right from my first telephone enquiry. Met me in my car and directed me to secure parking, saw me to the hotel, checked me in, directed me to nearby restaurants for supper. Carefully explained access and security. Bedroom comfortable and with a small balcony to view the main street. So obliging and helpful with a cheery good bye as I left. Hotel with attitude, well located and good value for money.

Hotel with a good quality/price ratio. It is very convenient to the historic center and the main shops. I found it quiet and clean with all the necessary services. They are located below several bars and 100 meters away a small supermarket. I recommend it!

What to say about the Hotel Olympia.... Already from telephone contacts we were sure that we had chosen the right place to spend a night in Genoa to visit the aquarium and the city itself....the kindness found in the telephone conversations with Mr. Agostino left us no doubts! Upon our arrival we were greeted with immense cordiality and cheerfulness. Our little girls and our furry friend were pampered to make us feel immediately at ease. We immediately noticed the cleanliness and attention to detail. Very kind and super professional owners! We were assigned a large quadruple room, very clean and with every comfort so as to make us feel at home! Another point of applause is for the splendid choice of support points where to have breakfast and lunch/dinner. Very strategic position for any type of visit. Should we return to Genoa in the future you will be our choice with our eyes closed! Thank you for this wonderful stay! SUPER SUPER RECOMMENDED!!!

Excellent value for money. The single room is small but comfortable and clean, especially the bed has a very comfortable mattress. The hotel is on the fourth floor of a historic Liberty-style building of considerable value. A special mention to the courtesy, availability and friendliness of the owner Agostino, and his patience in satisfying my unusual needs in preparing my coffee :-) Excellent location, very central and particularly convenient for me because it is close to the Brignole station and Carignano, where the friends I went to visit live. I will definitely return!
