I loved it there! Walter is so nice, gives good recommandation of where to eat and what to visit! The Albergo is in a walking distance of everything too! The rooms are clean and the toilets too. I was able to bring my dog also. I will definetly go back there next time I’m in Genova :)

Scam !!!!
80€/night, I was not expecting much but the bare minimum, and I was disappointed.
1) room cleanliness : null. Chips on the ground first stay in, « room cleaning that don’t clean anything », dust everywhere
2) room directly in the entrance of the hotel without any noise isolation : you will ear every resident enter or leave the hotel
3) sanitary system from middle age : pump problem, very noisy, smell like sewer, toilets not fixed to the ground (nearly fell off with them)
4) no air conditioning : fan is present but very very dusty
5) NO HOT WATER AT ALL !!!!! It was told to the owner who responded that we needed to wait 40 seconds to have hot water. Spoiler : after several minutes and 3 nights here : strictly no hot water.
I discourage anyone to book at this hotel. It’s a big scam and you can find easily a better one for similar prices.

Very nice hotel, looks very traditional inside which is a nice way to experience what it is to live in genoa on another level.
The person managing the hotel is so lovely, they welcome you with a smile and accommodate you the best they can. They are always available for assistance and advice.
It's very nicely located close to the train station Brignoles and the city centre.
The price are really reasonable for the quality of the stay you'll get.

Great location!
Centrally located for Genoa Brigniole railway station and Bus station. Pharmacy, restaurants and supermarkets are very nearby.
Hotel staff, Valter is very friendly and welcoming. Guides voluntarily to the tourists.
It was a great stay. On my next visit the Genoa, I'll book same hotel.

Nice hotel with very friendly and hospitable hosts. It was a bit confusing to find, because there is no clear sign at the entry and Albergo Novecento is situated on the 3rd floor. After climbing 2 flights in this old and beautiful building you find an ancient but reliable elevator.

After booking a room I´ve received an ordinary confirmation from the hotel. Just in case, I wrote them to confirm my time of arrival - at 23.00 and was really surprised by the answer that they are working only till 7 PM! NOWHERE - neither on the website nor in the booking letter was written this important point. So I lost my money and didn´t even get any answer on my email about refund.
I understand that the hotel is of 2*, but does this mean that the service should be also on this level?..
