Breakfast is great. Free and safe parking is a big plus. Did not miss living in the city area Genoa as the terrain is chaotic. Great place to to stay if you are driving.

Have stayed in this hotel 5-6 times in the last 10 years. Always love the staff service. The restaurant is also excellent for its attentive staff and lovely genovese food. Breakfast is also excellent. Although I hope an upgrade will come soon, the rooms are clean but tired.

Thanks to Mercure Genoa. You made me see the beauty of this world. I’ll definitely come back again.

Excellent hotel with very friendly reception and very clean rooms. It was cold when we arrived but inside the hotel the temperature was ideal, the room was so pleasant that we didn't even need to turn on the heating but I believe that those who are cold would be very warm. We really liked it and would definitely stay there again 👍

The location is so bad. For those traveling many cities in Europe and just stopping by Genoa, I would not recommend here. It’s too far from city center or station and very inconvenient to reach. Hotel amenities are so limited considering the is Mercure. While this may not be this hotel problem, but workers in cafeteria are discriminating against Asians. It might be common in Europe.

Unfortunately the room (and the structure) are old, along with the upholstery. After days of travel, they are not the ideal place to relax. The dust in the elevator gears tells of years of neglect. I found the reception staff very kind. Overall, the quality-price ratio is not good.

We arrived on a weekend when hotels were very expensive. If I'd paid three times less for this hotel, which is what it normally costs, I probably wouldn't have complained. However, the value for money was completely unsatisfactory. It's not a place I'd want to return to, unless it undergoes a complete renovation.

I don't know if it's a bad location or that the city is kind of ugly. Although the hotel is located at a super-strategic train and bus stop, the city has a lot to talk about. They were very attentive with the cleanliness of the room, which surprised me. They serviced my room without me asking, so don't leave anything of value inside. I didn't lose anything, but it's still better to be cautious.

Location is good, near Coach and Train terminal. Although facilities are basic, it is good enough for the short stay and represent good value for money

It takes 5 minutes to transfer to the center circle of the pier, subway and train station. The hotel is clean and well-equipped. Along the seaside line, you can reach the Maritime Museum and Diving Aquarium. During the period, you can enter the retired submarine, making it suitable for family travel.

The hotel is conveniently located, a 5-minute walk from the Piazza Principe train station and 10 minutes from the city center and the port. The room is clean and comfortable. Bottled water, tea, and instant coffee are provided. The only drawback is the small shower.

The hotel has a great location. That's where the positives end. The reception staff is extremely unfriendly; they don't say hello or goodbye. The rooms are old, the walls are stained, it's noisy until late at night, there's a smell of food in the room from the cafe on the ground floor, and the Wi-Fi signal is terrible.

This was a very lucky trip. We originally booked this hotel, but this hotel did not have an elevator and our luggage was very heavy. I tried to ask the front desk lady if she could change a room with an elevator for us, and then we were upgraded to a room that was very spacious and comfortable!

The hotel is very nice. We had a comfortable room, except for the bed, which, rightfully, is a struggle to please everyone. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. It's close to the center. The only downside is having to pay cash for parking instead of using the debit card. Otherwise, everything was fine.

ok could be better. The breakfast was the let down , there was more people than tables at breakfast and the items for breakfast was not great and poor presentation. Items were not replaced on a regular basis ie no cold milk meats not refilled etc.

Excellent Hotel, very friendly, great location to the port and the football stadium, rooms and hotel are spotless, breakfast was great, would stop there again. 15min walk to the front and 15 min walk to the football stadium, alot of hill walking so be advised.

It was in a good location and the room was large, but more attention should have been paid to cleanliness, and the whole room had a specific smell that was not pleasant. The cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet was very poor.Close to the city center and metro station

This was our first time in Genoa. We stayed with four people: me, my two children, and my mother. We were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Not so great hotel We chose this hotel because it had a bath however this was too dirty to use. The room wasn't cleaned for the 3 days we were there so the bins weren't emptied and the towels not changed. Drinks were not replaced though we could get coffee downstairs and there was a water machine but no free bottles. Breakfast was poor, no morning rolls or croissants left by 10am. No spoons to eat...

Room was clean but walls needed a paint job desperately! A/c did not work ! Great location if you were cruising as it was walking distance.

For 1-2 nights it is quite acceptable. Yes, it is old, but the price is reasonable. Water temperature problems The shared bathroom shower has got serious problems. Adjusting water temperature is almost impossible. The water burns you spontaneously changing temperature itself. Apart from this, everything was perfect.

The welcome was very friendly and pleasant. The hotel is well-located, and the room was pleasant and clean, despite a minor drawback with the air conditioning noise. The shared toilets and shower were not a problem at all and were very clean.

Conveniently located in the city center. Quiet. The lady at the front desk was friendly. What I didn't like: The twin beds were pushed together but kept sliding apart. The shower was tiny. Breakfast isn't available as there's no kitchen, though to be fair, there's a lobby area with a vending machine, a bottle warmer, and a microwave.

We booked for 4 people after only taking 1 shower the bathroom was out of service because there was no water flow. Fortunately the hotel has 1 shared bathroom that we were able to use. Refreshment and sanitation work is necessary.

I really liked this hotel. It offers excellent value for money. It was clean and warm, and the location is great, being close to both the train station and the city center. Hot water is available in the evenings. I'd definitely recommend it for a 1-2 night stay, especially if you're catching a cruise.

It was very close to the station, so it was convenient for traveling with a suitcase. It's a shame that the room was dimly lit. The room had a certain lived-in feel. There was a kettle and coffee and tea facilities in the room. The shower booth was a little too small, so I think it would be difficult for overweight people.

There is no lift and the property is on the 3rd floor. It is inside a secure building. The street to the hotel is quite steep. There are two ways to enter the property. Rooms were nice and friendly host but the showers were in awful condition. Blackish mold all over the showers and on the bathroom wall. One of showers wasn’t draining and when I told the host he just shrugged it off. You wouldn’t be able to shower for more than 30 sec without flooding the bathroom with it draining so poorly. This is a very old hotel in Genoa, close to the GNV. I arrived after 7 pm, no staff available at the reception. However, hotel provided clear instructions on what to do to get in. Initially, it was challenging, but once I figure things out, I actually felt good about the place. There was no private parking, so I was really concerned about parking my new car on the street.

The location is excellent, a 3-minute walk from the station. It seems to be a family-run hotel; the service was good, the rooms were newly renovated, spacious, and had an elevator. Breakfast was simple, with a variety of breads and pastries. There are inexpensive and delicious Chinese restaurants and Asian supermarkets nearby.

Recently,I had the privilege of staying at the Hotel Vittoria very close to the Principe Railroad Station.I stayed at the Vittoria for 4 nights.I enjoyed my room,I appreciated the nice breakfast,and I liked the hospitality of the Vittoria's staff. The staff helped me find my way to Genoa's delightful art museums(Bianco Palazzo,Rosso Palazzo,Frugone,Diocesan,Saint Augustine)and awesome cathedral.

I don’t understand why people rate this hotel that low. The AC runs pretty well, you can’t say it doesn’t work, because you feel the difference when you’re in and out. The hotel is close to the train station of Genova Brignole, it deserves plenty of stations, there’s even local stores you could visit, and even beaches so close of this spot.

The room was very cozy and nice. The quality/price ratio was really good for a 1-star hotel in high season. The only drawback was the outside noise from traffic. The reception was friendly. Excellent for a 1-2 night stay and a quick visit to the city.

Near the brignole station, lot of breakfast areas around, had a farmacy nearby. Soundproofed windows. Clean. Staff was great. She waited for us until we arrive late. Hot water in the shower was great. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids, they had a double decker bed and me and my wife at the matrimonial bed. Room space was more than enough.. very good price value!! The hotel is really nice, you can meet a lot of people right away. It's very close to the city center, which is super convenient if you want to pop into Genoa. Recommended – it's comfortable and affordable.

The carpet in the room was very dirty, and the kitchenware was not only broken but also greasy, indicating a lack of maintenance. I wouldn't recommend it to people who are very clean. The advantage is that it's very close to the station.

It's close to the airport; my flight landed quite late, so it only took about 10 minutes to get there. The environment was okay, though a bit noisy on the first floor. I was in such a rush that I didn't have time to explore the area.
