Where to stay in Bergamo

This is a fantastic hotel! Everything is amazingly clean, staff is super friendly and the breakfast and amenities are great! Located in Citta Alta and walkable within that district. The hotel also has a parking space. Highly recommend this well designed and well run hotel.

I am glad to have had the chance to stay here. The hotel is in a great location to walk to the wonderful old town of upper Bergamo. Lovely property just a few minutes from the town centre but with great views and very peaceful and quaint looking yet modern interior. Beautiful calm stay in Città Alta Amazing and welcoming staffs who recommended us local restaurant and routes to explore Città Alta. We found ourselves in a quiet yet well connected location, and the room had a fabulous view. 10/10 would recommend!

That hostel was really nice and it had everything you needed! Too bad they closed it! Prices were very good, actually the best value for money, while also offering free breakfast and room facilities. The position of it was perfect as it was close to many spots and there was also the public transport station that was located right at the entrance (and it allowed people to travel to the city center)...

Very nice hostel but it was extremely warm in the room, even with fan and opened balcony. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was normal but there were no curtains in the shower. Breakfast was delicious, I could choose between croissants and other pastries and some cereals. Fresh coffee and other drinks were available. Thank you so much for your hospitality in Bergamo :)

Nice and clean hostel, excellent for backpackers. Every room has it's own bathroom + some rooms have balcony (Very nice view on the city, u can get nice pictures on the rooftop). Quarenghi16 is a beautiful place to stay in the lower city of bergamo. The accommodation is a short walk from the bus and train station and only 15/20minutes from the airport by shuttlebus. You are just around the corner from the shops and a short walk to the old town (upper town) which is beautiful with so much history and views of the town below and the surrounding countryside and the bergamo alps...

We really felt like home! I loved the apartment because of its size and our bedroom was also big. The bathroom was a bit small, especially the shower (80x80cm) and it was positioned between the toilet and sink (strange). Perfect location, close to the train station. The self-check-in system is good, but the entry code should be sent to your email a few days in advance, instead of requiring you to request it. Services like luggage storage should be clearer and the service faster. The facilities are very good and comfortable.

Pleasant clean accommodation centrally located in Bergamo old town. Room was nicely presented with a nice ensuite. Perfect continental breakfast. The breakfast was the only human interaction during our stay! The back entrance was perfect to get to the main square quickly.

We had a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend to others visiting the old city. Steps away from everything including the main square. Visited with family and friends to watch soccer match between Italy vs N Ireland.

Lovely location for going around in Bergamo & coming from the airport. Using Bus 1 from the airport, a stop at Stazione Fermata 267 is a straight forward €3 trip. Once u get off at stop 267, it’s 8mins walk to the airport. Room was nice though the shower was as tiny for tall or large people, but the water pressure was fantastic.

Breakfast has less options like no boiled eggs, no watermelon , but staff is good.

The owner of the B&B is very communicative, friendly and helpful. I was surprised at the very beautiful view. I knew there would be a view but I did not expect it to be as beautiful as that! This is a place where one can stay for several days and just read a book in the garden, enjoy the Old Town of Bergamo and enjoy life.

If you are looking for a low budget bb but at the same time clean and located close to the center this is the best option for you. Highly recommended if you have to catch an early flight, close to the bus stop for the airport shuttle,first bus around 5am from Mon to Fri, no need to book a taxi.

Clean rooms and quiet location.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station, but we had a great experience. The receptionist was so helpful, and the ladies providing breakfast (on the terrace!) were also very helpful and charming. The room was comfortable, clean, and fine. There is some street noise so we just left our window closed.

We stayed three nights and I’m sure we’ll meet again! Matteo is an extremely professional host, the apartment was in perfect condition throughout our stay. Clean, with daily supplements, towels and hygiene products. For a good price (10 eur), we have organized transfers to and from the airport. A truly excellent location. You can see the entire Po Valley. Eating outside is a real delight in the summer. Few seats, few dishes but well made and excellent service. Even the house wine is drinkable. The only flaw is that some dishes, although tasty, are a bit meager for the price. The desserts are also excellent

A delightful stay, Enrica and team made us feel very welcome. Great room with balconies and a fantastic view. Lots to see and do in Bergamo and the surrounding area but you probably need your own transport. A small fridge in the room would have been good but that’s a minor point. Food in the restaurant (Friday - Sunday lunch) was amazing along with Papas wine. Grazie mille.

Very nice place to stay, quiet not too much rooms, good breakfast and on demand lovely local produced meals at weekends and during festive occasions like easter and so on. Very helpfull staff and lots of things to do and see , outside the agriturismo for the sporty and not so sporty guests. Lake como bergamo alta a day outing to milano all in reach we were here many times and will come back.

A spectacular view and the staff was accomodating. The room was a little hot and wish there was a little fridge in the room. Didn't know the restaurant was only open on weekends. I think in the spring or the fall would be more enjoyable.
