Hotel Capitol – Simply Good

I booked a small room at Hotel Capitol for a work trip, and my stay was truly excellent. The room was quiet and peaceful, with a window that let in fresh air—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The Wi-Fi was outstanding, thanks to their Wi-Fi 6 setup. I had no issues with connectivity, whether I was working or streaming.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special shout-out to the gentleman working in the breakfast area—he went above and beyond to assist guests and made mornings feel welcoming. I’d also like to commend the room service team. I had a minor issue with the trouser press, and when I called reception, someone came promptly and resolved it with great professionalism.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel’s location was ideal—just a short walk from my workplace. My room was cleaned daily, and everything was kept in perfect order.

Based on my experience, I’m happy to give Hotel Capitol a 5-star rating. I genuinely can’t think of a single downside.

I could see the room is well maintained and every bit of the equipment was thoughtfully installed and properly offered to guests. My single room was smaller than my expectation but the space was well designed. I had a good night sleep. Overall the stay was good. One thing I would like to point out is that you have the room to improve in breakfast quality.

The room I was in was very small, but very clean and the bathroom was modern and clean. Fantastic breakfast with superb coffee. Staff were very friendly. 5 minutes walk from Pagano metro is very handy.

While the price wasn't the most appealing when I booked, I found it to be quite good value for money once I checked in. The location is decent; it's a bit of a walk, but perfectly manageable on foot. I was also able to check in early by arriving a bit ahead of time. The service was excellent, and the place was very clean. Though the room was a little on the small side, it definitely had the vibe of a classic, established hotel.

The hotel was in a good location. As this is located in a good place , the size of the rooms were very small. I got the single bed size but it was comfortable and clean.
The bathroom was also clean but if you are a big person, the shower will be too small for you. Anyway it was good.
The room has a fridge and coffee machine and the service was very kind .
They gave internal limited parking for a reasonable price for all day parking but it is very tiny, but good ( underground)

The location is great. Tram No. 16 is just around the corner, and there's a metro station just a short walk away. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, and the rooms are small but well-organized, making them very comfortable. The breakfast is simple, the same every morning, and everything you need. The highlight is their giant pancakes! They're as big as washbasins! I've never seen such a big pancake before, and I'd give it the Best Pancake in Milan award.
