Also when the safe malfunctioned and I couldn't access my belongings, the front desk claimed they didn't have the master key and told me to "come back after 10 AM tomorrow." This is ridiculous. A master key should be available at all times. If this had happened on the morning of my flight, I would have been unable to retrieve my passport and would have been stranded in Italy.
I sent a formal complaint email because I didn't have time to wait for the police before my flight, but the hotel has completely ignored me. Theft from a "secure" safe combined with a total lack of accountability is a massive security failure. I demand a full investigation and a refund.
DO NOT TRUST THE SAFES IN THIS HOTEL. Choose a different hotel where your safety and property are respected.
Cleanliness: Very good, no issues.
Environment: Great, it's an old hotel but the ambiance is nice.
Service: We originally booked a twin room, but there was a mistake when we arrived. The front desk immediately waived our parking fee and switched us back.

- Strong, cheap perfume smell everywhere!? Reception & in the rooms. Gives a headache.
- Doors to rooms are VERY poorly insulated for noise. If people arrive late with luggage, or if someone down the hall opens their door with some music in their room a friday night, you'll hear it. Loudly.
- Breakfast is expensive and not impressive at all.
- Small rooms, no size for a proper desk.
- Stayed during lowest season and with very low amount of guests, still we got the handicap room where you have to crunch down to take a shower? (Me and my girlfriend are young & fit people, btw)
