The room was okay, it had a basic bathroom and a normal comfortable bed. It’s a one star hotel, so don’t have any high expectations. The place was very clean and bathroom was very spacious and comfortable.

The only issue of this whole experience wasn’t the accommodation itself, it was mostly the customer service from the lady who runs the place called Mira.

I travel for work a lot, and in all my years of travel I have never had such an unpleasant and bizarre customer service experience like this one.

The lady that runs the place called Mira explained to us a long list of rules at our check in. Some of the rules were very bizarre and strange, like the one where we had a curfew of 11pm each night. You couldn’t stay out later than 11pm because that’s when she goes to bed.

We also had to leave our room key with her every time we went out, so that meant that every time we went out, we needed to call on her to do the whole room key process which was very annoying. I felt like she was monitoring everything we did and it made me feel like I was in prison and not in vacation.

She also mentioned that we couldn’t bring any snacks or drinks into the room which was very uncomfortable since I have low blood sugar and like to have snacks on hand at all times for that reason. We were also not allowed to bring in any alcohol or wine into our room. She always made it seem like we were a bother to her and like she was doing us a favor in us being there, instead of us being paying customers who deserve respect and kindness.

Only book this place if you have no other choice OR if you’re not bothered by having a curfew every night and very strict rules about food, freedom, and drinks.

This place is very bad. It barely looks like a hotel. The lady who runs it is very rude and wastes a lot of your time explaining obvious rules of how to turn on or off lights. It's way too expensive for what you get. Her English is very broken and blames you if you don't understand her. You can't leave the room and come back after 10pm. You have to leave the key with her when you leave. She didn't allow my mom and I to stay 10 minutes with my cousin to help her get settled in before heading to lunch and asked us to stay outside because we reserved the room for one person, and if we stayed for 10 minutes police would know :). Only go there if you're about to be homeless in Milan for the night.

Avoid this place at all costs. We had a truely awful experience at this hotel. The receptionist at this hotel was one of the most unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered in the hospitality industry.

Her attitude was extremely aggressive, she clearly has no understanding of basic customer service. The way she treated us was unacceptable and disrespectful, and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. We were treated as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Nice stay. The lady at the reception was very nice. It’s a one-star hotel, so we used it for what it’s meant for—sleeping and showering. The metro station is just a 5-minute walk away and well-connected to the rest of Milan. The neighborhood felt safe, and there’s a convenience store nearby that’s open until midnight.

The treatment of the owner of the hotel was very scary and terrifying, and she was giving us very strange instructions. This is the strange hotel. This is the strangest hotel, and she was giving us very dangerous instructions, such as that we must open the door lightly because there are people, and if he is drunk, he will come out with a strongly, and she says don't hold anything, and she said I'm sleeping on the sofa at the reception, and she said, if you come to go out, knock on the door, and if you come out of the room, I have to turn off the lights, and she told us not to touch the board in the room, and it was very stressed on the board and only 3 people are forbidden to enter the room, and our third friend had to go out, and I told her a word for 10 minutes, she refused completely, and she said if you want to talk to him a

Location is good. Quite place. But very poor customer service. My flight got delayed. its out of my control . and I informed them I might not be able to check in at 10pm might be bit late. because from Melpansa airport hotel is bit far away but they didn't let me check in if I got late after 10 pm, since I wasn't sure how long will it take I had to reserve another hotel which allow me to check in. But I had to pay the day even I didn't stay in the hotel.

This is honestly a tough one. The room its self was solid. Especially for a 1 star. Not bad for budget. The service was strange as every detail was tediously explained including a walkthrough of the room. Particular is a good word. The representative (i assume was the owner was nice and cordial). I had already paid for my room but was threatened to not have access if not arrived before 10pm via text during the day. It may work for you. Read more reviews to form an opinion. The location is great and feels very safe.

We ordered parking and payed 2 minutes after we got a message that the parking is full so we called reception and the women that answered was incredibly rude and not nice so we cancelled immediately.
Bottom line: false advertising and rude staff

The hotel overall has potential due to its location, however the lecture about all the rules of things such as how to open the windows, how to shower, how to use the toilet, to keep the shutters down, windows open, and all other absurd things we were told by the woman who greeted us, made me never want to visit this “hotel” ever again.
Parking said to be free of charge was never accessible although it was empty.
Appliances in the rooms according to rules were “forbidden to use”.

Simply the worst customer service I have ever experience at Hotel Bicocca.

Upon arrival we were greeted by what I guess is the owner of the property. She informed us that the Internet is not working, and hasn't worked for a while, I then proceeded to ask when will it be back online, the lady could not give me a straight answer. so instantly thats a big part of the agreement and a important service out the window.

I then asked about the Air conditioning which she said was €10 a night, which is extortionate in my humble opinion.

Very luckily we found a property just down the road from Hotel Bicocca, which was actually cheaper but way better quality!
