Reviews
The only issue of this whole experience wasn’t the accommodation itself, it was mostly the customer service from the lady who runs the place called Mira.
I travel for work a lot, and in all my years of travel I have never had such an unpleasant and bizarre customer service experience like this one.
The lady that runs the place called Mira explained to us a long list of rules at our check in. Some of the rules were very bizarre and strange, like the one where we had a curfew of 11pm each night. You couldn’t stay out later than 11pm because that’s when she goes to bed.
We also had to leave our room key with her every time we went out, so that meant that every time we went out, we needed to call on her to do the whole room key process which was very annoying. I felt like she was monitoring everything we did and it made me feel like I was in prison and not in vacation.
She also mentioned that we couldn’t bring any snacks or drinks into the room which was very uncomfortable since I have low blood sugar and like to have snacks on hand at all times for that reason. We were also not allowed to bring in any alcohol or wine into our room. She always made it seem like we were a bother to her and like she was doing us a favor in us being there, instead of us being paying customers who deserve respect and kindness.
Only book this place if you have no other choice OR if you’re not bothered by having a curfew every night and very strict rules about food, freedom, and drinks.
Her attitude was extremely aggressive, she clearly has no understanding of basic customer service. The way she treated us was unacceptable and disrespectful, and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. We were treated as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests.
If I could give zero stars I would.
Bottom line: false advertising and rude staff
Parking said to be free of charge was never accessible although it was empty.
Appliances in the rooms according to rules were “forbidden to use”.
Upon arrival we were greeted by what I guess is the owner of the property. She informed us that the Internet is not working, and hasn't worked for a while, I then proceeded to ask when will it be back online, the lady could not give me a straight answer. so instantly thats a big part of the agreement and a important service out the window.
I then asked about the Air conditioning which she said was €10 a night, which is extortionate in my humble opinion.
Very luckily we found a property just down the road from Hotel Bicocca, which was actually cheaper but way better quality!
