This is a really comfortable hotel with great food, but if you like your money – NEVER stay here!
The staff is horribly incompetent and negligent. In May 2025 I spent a night here during a business trip. Even though my presence was obvious (I even got an invoice and all the paperwork to prove it) a front desk clerk thought it would be fun to report a no-show on my side to booking.com, through which my visit had been booked in the first place.
In consequence, I got charged a fee of over 200 Euro by booking.com on top of the cost of my stay. Since then, I’ve been trying to get my money back and despite many e-mails, petitions, requests and lawsuit threats from my side, the hotel employees did NOTHING and took no responsibility for their absurd actions.
After 5 months and countless lies about how the staff is supposedly working hard to solve the problem, I think I’ve exhausted my options. If the Italian consumer protection authority won’t be able to help me, this is probably going to end before a court of law.
I hereby warn all people who might consider choosing this hotel: even though it is quite luxurios, don’t bother. It’s not worth the stress and the possibility of becoming a fictim of fraud is out there.
Upon entering the room, I found bugs inside.
I barely managed to get through the night.
The cleanliness and facilities were not great.
The location was convenient; there was a tram right outside.
Also, the staff were very friendly.
Only minor complaint is that our room was missing toiletries (no shower gel, no spare toilet roll) so we had to keep asking the reception for them. They did sort it out very quickly though.
I often travel alone for work, and staying at this hotel always makes me feel at home and truly cared for. The staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful – from reception to the restaurant and catering team, everyone is welcoming and ready to help with a smile.
Chef Eduard is clearly passionate about his work. The dishes are not only delicious, but he also makes sure that every guest feels pampered at the restaurant – it’s a special touch that makes a big difference.
Breakfast is good and quite varied, with sweet and savoury options, including vegan and healthier choices. There’s something for everyone.
The hotel also has a small gym equipped with dumbbells, resistance bands, and some cardio machines. There’s a water dispenser available, and they offer clean towels, which is a great plus. I would suggest adding a few mats for stretching or yoga, as there aren’t any at the moment.
Rooms are comfortable, with cozy beds and adjustable temperature, although I’ve always found the A/C to be just right.
Highly recommended for everyone, but especially for solo travelers looking for a peaceful and friendly atmosphere.
