Admiral Hotel in Milan

The staff were friendly and polite, however, I had a very serious issue with my stay. One morning, a man entered my room while we were asleep. It may have been a mistake, but it raises a major concern - how was his key able to access my room in the first place?
Additionally, housekeeping entered the room without knocking, which was very unsettling.
I was extremely uncomfortable with strangers being able to enter my room so easily. This is a serious safety concern, and unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

The front desk that *** attitude was mean, the room air conditioning suddenly stopped, she came first with a very mean attitude accused us of adjusting the air conditioning system, but in fact after entering the room we did not touch the system, then saw us reprimand her accusation, only deadly said maybe the cleaner, asked her other questions she answered very mean attitude, feeling she is discriminating against Chinese people, if the Chinese do not consider this. Also the bedside lamp turns on and off, the hotel facilities are too old!

The price is not cheap, it is old, and there is nothing you want. I am not used to it. It is better to stay at Hilton. I am not used to the dining and other things. The key is that the normal facilities are insufficient.

We arrived late on Friday night, around 3am (Saturday), and were met with an unpleasant experience at the reception.

Initially, everything seemed fine as the receptionist provided us with our room keys. However, when he requested our ID cards, the situation quickly deteriorated. He insisted on keeping our ID cards until the next day, which made us uncomfortable as these were our only forms of identification. He explained that he needed to open the system for the new day, which would take a long time.

We suggested that he take a copy of our ID cards instead, but he claimed this was not possible by law. We also suggested completing the process the following day, which he subsequently said was not possible. The receptionist then stated that the process would take 30 minutes, and when we agreed to wait, he rudely changed the estimate to one hour. Despite his rudeness, we waited, and after about five minutes, he gave our ID cards back.

This behaviour is not acceptable and is certainly not the way to treat customers, especially those arriving for the first time in Milan. This experience was far from the warm welcome we expected.

We filed a complaint upon checkout and were advised to follow up by email to the hotel management, which until today we still did not receive any feedback.
