Hotel Sport in Santa Caterina Valfurva

Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is managed by an elderly couple who were often unfriendly and unaccommodating. During our 20-day stay, the owner argued with us several times simply because we came back late in the evening. The hotel is locked at night with no independent access for guests, which makes it very inconvenient for anyone who wants flexibility. After staying for almost three weeks, we expected more understanding, but instead we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We also did not find them helpful when we needed assistance. Breakfast was another major issue. The cornetti were always reheated and never fresh, and even the bread did not seem fresh. There were sometimes cakes, but they often tasted like they were a couple of days old. The cheese and fruit compotes also did not seem fresh and occasionally had an alcohol-like smell, which was very concerning. Overall, the breakfast quality was far below expectations. The only positive point is that the rooms are nice and clean. Unfortunately, this was not enough to make up for the overall negative experience.
