The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the metro station, making it super convenient to get to Milan Cathedral by subway or to walk to the train/high-speed rail station. La Limonaia Hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location and the staff are super welcoming and helpful! Clean, Good location and service

We didn't get to stay in the hotel, cos the hotel manager said our room got flooded and drove us to another hotel as a replacement. While I can't say for the hotel itself, I appreciate their service recovery. Tremezzo is so much more chill than Varenna ( the worst ) and Bellagio. Just that it is a bit harder to reach here if you don't drive.

The location is great and the room was big and had a great view. However if noise bothers you probably don’t book here. You can hear everything. Full conversations from the neighbouring rooms, traffic and I was near the lift/stairs and it was constant thudding. I was underwhelmed with the staff too. Seemed very cold, especially comparing to La Darsena where I’d just come from.

The hotel was in a perfect location close to ferry terminal and bus station. The views from the hotel room were breathtaking views of lake Como. The overall stay was nice. The staff were pleasant except for one staff in the restaurant ( ****** the steward who was rude and ****** at 3 different occasions… otherwise rest of the staff was very nice and friendly.

The room was large and everything seemed OK at first glance. Then it turned out that the rooms were so thin that you could hear a vibrating cell phone somewhere in the other room. Okey, so we stayed there for three nights. What I can say is that the service is excellent. People are very nice and welcome. The only problem was the rooms are very cold. It’s a small family 3 star hotel. But it’s 4 star hotel for me as it was so clean, it has such a good staff and owners. The only problem that the hotel is a bit far from city center. What a lucky find. We needed a cost effective stay for our halfway stop on the way to our final destination, what a lucky find. The staff is super accomodating the rooms are clean and have the basic amenities, but what was best is the included breakfast. The Cappuccino is amazing, the Cornetti to die for. Needed a room for the night with my family and found this hotel online. We showed up in the evening and was greeted by a lovely staff who quickly helped us check in on our room.
